Kamen Rider: General Thread

It doesn't make sense. Anybody with eyes can see that all the Showa Rider suits are not the ones used in their original shows, but remade ones.

If they can do so for the old guards, why not Another Agito and Gills?

... Too bad I can't find ANYTHING that has Gills or Another Agito in it. I mean, COME ON.

Look up the latest SIC Hero Saga, Gills' story is being continued and there's a new Another Agito (I won't say who it is because yer still watching, but I can tell if you want; he's in the show) and that story is most likely better than any fanfic I found.

Toei doesn't like bringing back secondary Riders if they can avoid it.

If they brought back Kusaka—even though he's still dead—then they can brought back the others before and after him.

Besides, if they did so the Rides won't be too outnumbered by the Sentai. Think about the team up scenes from Super Hero Taisen.

Hibiki could've had Ibuki, Todoroki, and Zanki kicking ass alongside the Magirangers. Ixa could've teamed up with the Go-On Wings. The Gaoranges could go wild alongside Gills.

If they make villain figures they need to make ones for Medusa and Mezool.

Could also have evil Riders fighting against Sentai that Face-Turned.

Like Micchy (From Nobody to Nightmare) vs Black Condor (started out as a sociopathic jerkass, and then turned into a champion of justice).

Right. I won't bother posting the Coola phone gag vid, but it was more or less what I suspected.

I don't understand the motives of that girl at all though. Why was she doing it? Even though they explained who she was, I still don't really get it.

so Gou might will switch sides, but it's unclear if it's deliberate, or manipulation. Considering how much he hates Roimundes, the latter seems likely. Also, 001 points out that Brain is evolving himself by learning to use emotion. This is interesting in contrast to Medic, who seems to lack any emotions at all, even for a Roimunde. I'm really wondering who the final boss of the series will be. Medic seemed like a front-runner, but with Brain re-taking some levels, there might be something planned for him, but now 001 in is the running as well.

You know how I found it hard to hate Nira?

He's continuing to prove exactly that. I literally busted a guy when he was rubbing his head against Shinnosuke like a cat. Mark my words, he's gonna wind up joining the good guys by the end of the show.

Or he's going to get exploded.

Ok, now that you point it out, I can kinda see it a little, though even though their motivations are somewhat similar (wanting to protect someone) I feel like Gou's own emotions are clouding his judgment on the issue, while Micchy's actions came out of his still wanting to control things

Also, Chase barging in to scare the crap out of Nira was hilarious. I got the feeling he was hamming it up a bit.

I'm pretty sure that was the point.

Yeah, but seeing him wave his arms like a goofball and all that was just great. It's just so.....un-Chase like.

Damn. the fine line between punishing villains by killing or imprisoning them is getting thin.

Interesting. When told that they would follow his idea that Agito is the greater threat, even Houjou seemed to have doubts this was the right thing.

That being said, I suspect it's him in one of those suits. I can't picture Hikawa ever turning against Shouichi. I wonder who the other one is though. Only Houjou and Hikawa were ever qualified to wear either suit, and only Hikawa has ever worn G3-X.

Anyway, it looks like 50 will be the final battle, and 51 will be the epilogue, which is similar to Kuuga.

I wonder what I'll watch from here. I don't really know. Maybe I'll give Blade a look, or maybe I might actually look up some Showa Riders and see what the deal is with them. Not sure where to start.

Of course, I might just take a break from Kamen Riding for a bit. Outside of continuing to watch Drive of course.

I'm actuallt thinking of doing Blade as well, when I finish Agito (incidentally, I'm up through ep 30 now). Blade, or trying Kuuga again.

Kamen Rider Drive Summer Movie Title & New Tridoron Revealed

...TRON CAR.

While damn fancy, NEX Tridoron is a lot more mundane than regular Tridoron. Probably has some CGI coolness hidden away though. I do like the design though and I hope the movie form matches its aesthetic (there was a really blurry leaked photo which sort of supports this).

And using a modern Mercedes-AMG GT makes up for the use of twenty year old cars for both the main Tridoron and the Tricyclone.

Although you'd think they'd use one of these◊ to keep the design lineage going.

Oh man. Ryou lost another girlfriend. That's gonna piss him off. And I was wrong about Houojou having his doubts. His proves himself to be an ass once again. I really think he just needed to get his ass kicked. His few Pet the Dog moments don't change what a fucker he really is. I don't know why anyone trusts him at all.

So thinking on it, there are three types of riders:

• Mystical riders with magical style powers (who sometimes use technology to control it.

• Organic style riders who's powers come from their biology (though the transformation can still have an element of magic to it, as is the case with both Amazon).

• Pure technology based riders (both the Powered Armor Style and the Holly Wood Cyborg style).

I'd say I'd like a series with all three types, but I've technically been watching that (though Agito and Gills are technically the same).

Speaking of which, I'm wondering why there seems to be a variation among the three known Agitos. I know Gills is apparently a failed Agito, but what's the deal with Another Agito and regular Agito? Why do they look so different?

How come both Shouichi's sister and Kana (this new girl that is becoming an Agito) just look like him?

Oh wait. I forgot. They're girls. Can't have female characters being riders or anything. Fortunately, we have Ozawa to bring the awesome, so I can't exactly say the women don't do anything, but still. It's telling the the only two female Agitos don't get unique looks.

I don't think we've gotten anything close to biological rider since Gills actually. He might be the last of his kind.

I mean, they do literally transform into Oni.
