Are sign-ups still open? I'd like to stretch my romance writing muscles and this seems a perfect opportunity.

To the best of my knowledge, no-one's closed them.

Hopefully this is acceptable:

• Name: Ming Chao
• Age: 17
• Sexuality: Straight, but having strange thoughts about girls.
• Appearance: Taller than average, average weight for her height, and kinda busty (upper end of C-cup). Has dark brown hair, either worn down with a head band or up in an uncovered Odango style. Has green eyes and is often seen with a smile on her face. She wears the an unaltered version of the school uniform.
• Personality: Upbeat and bubbly, Ming loves having fun. She's very sociable and likes making friends wherever she goes. These traits have diminished somewhat after mother left, but she tries her best to maintain a happy attitude.
• Skills: Has an innate magical ability passed down from her mother that manifests as Ki Attacks and Chi-sensing, though she is unaware of these abilities at the moment. (Just in case the supernatural elements don't kick in.)
• Biography: Daughter of a Japanese diplomat and a former Chinese national, Ming Chao has lived a very culturally diverse life. For the most part her childhood was a normal one and her family a happy one. It was when Ming turned 13 that her mother received a letter calling her back to China with almost no other information or indication of who sent it. Her mother seemed to understand however and left for China almost immediately, promising to comeback soon. It's been four years since that day and her mother still hasn't returned. Her father forbids her from traveling to China to seek out her mother though he has looked into the matter via private eyes. If he's learned anything however, he hasn't let Ming know. In the meantime Ming attempts to live a normal life, all the while unaware of the magic abilities her mother passed down to her.

• Name: Tsugaru (MMS Automaton: Codename: Blue Xmas)
• Age: 4 days old, physically looks 17
• Sexuality: Asexual/pansexual
• Appearance: Tsugaru looks like an average 17 year old girl, dressed in red with small green pigtails. Her skin is flawless, but is broken up with mechanical joints in her wrists, elbows, shoulders, and other joints. When in battle mode, her normal clothes disappear, replaced by a tight leotard-like costume. Her legs are covered in blue armor, with a similarly colored breastplate and skirt armor. Powerful thrusters/heavy cannons are attached to her shoulders, and verniers cover her back, with two powerful rifles on racks on her back as well.
• Personality: Tsugaru is very new to the world, and is learning as much as she can. Almost any experience is new to her, and she is slowly learning to be a human, and to love. When she fights, however, her childlike demeanor vanishes, replaced by a soldier whose only goal is completion of her objective.
• Skills: Tsugaru has almost no skills outside of combat, but her programming allows her to learn and experience things at incredible speed. In combat, her abilities exceed any single war machine at the time. She is capable of carrying out large-scale combat operations on her own. She has almost 100% accuracy, and never falters in her movements.
• Biography: Tsugaru is secretly the MMS-Automaton known as Blue Christmas, an android designed to be the most powerful combatant of the modern age. Before she could be fielded, however, it was determined that her espionage skills are lacking due to her lack of human experience, and she was promptly entered into Kansai City’s high school system as a student to learn more about humanity and human emotion. She is like a child, learning about everything for the first time, and excited by it all. Perhaps she will even learn about love while here…

Wait curses! Reading back, I saw what happened with the last robot girl. Hmm... But that was my only idea.

Get a Tsundere, Ori.

Beta Ray: Approved, though I would recommend that you think of a more mundane... or at least less combat oriented use for the ki. Really, while combat might happen in the RP it should never be the focus.

Orichalcon: Sorry, I'll have to say no on this one on the same basis as the last one. The fantastical elements are too much to the front and combat seems to be an integral part of the character. I can imagine it could be played out for drama in a relationship... being a machine designed to deal death can be quite a potent thing to deal with in a girl with blossoming feelings.

Grey Star: Hmmm quite possible. I'll allow it as long as she can keep it hidden until the reveal. You can have fun with close calls and the woes of a gender bender though.

I need a new idea then.

Hmm... What if she was militarily designed, but not as a weapon. Perhaps she's supposed to be an intelligent spacecraft for exploration, which would partially explain her innocence about everything, and her supposed weapons were more like construction tools?

Wouldn't it be suspicious if there were two people in the class as cautious as Nekomi about displaying any flesh?

She's not cautious. There's no secret that she's an android. What was the secret was that she was a weapon, but if she's just going to be a spacecraft, no problem.

I'm pretty sure that there's nothing openly inhuman around. We have plenty of strange hair colours, though...

All right, I got no ideas. I'm out.

We're still on the first day, so I don't think magical elements and such are needed yet.

Name: Imber/Flamma Aurelius

Age: 19

Sexuality: Bisexual

Appearance: The male form, or Imber, is a tall, lean, and tanned. His swarthy complexion is highlighted with blue toned black hair and silvery grey eyes. He usually wears glasses(that do nothing) and his hair in a ponytail in this form, and his formal clothes are a dark polo shirt, a pair of jeans, and all sorts of platinum chains attached to his neck, pants, and wrists.

The female form, or Flamma, is shorter and more curvy than Imber. She is also less conservative and more flashy, wearing bright colored blouses with a pair of skater's shorts underneath. She usually hangs her hair straight down and has gold chains instead of platinum. Her hair is a fiery golden red and her skin is a tad paler than Imber's tone, along with her eyes being an emerald green color.

Personality: Imber is the more serious and calmer of the two forms, whilst Flamma is the more spontaneous one. Both forms have a great love for justice, but their methods for doing so are quite the opposite way. They are both rather friendly, though somewhat eccentric to people they first meet.

Skills: Imber/Flamma is good at sports involving legs, like soccer or capioera. She enjoys dancing as well as martial arts that take advantage of lower body strength. She's also a very good cook, especially with anything that involves vegetables, though by no account is she a vegetarian. She's also an avid pursuer of the literary arts and spends a sizable amount of time reading fantasy and manga every day.

Biography: Hailing from a mixed heritage, Imber/Flamma is part English, part Etruscan, part Irish, and part Korean. As a child, Imber was fascinated with art and he spent his times at fashion shows and art museums. He desperately wished he could be as radiant as the things he cherished, until one day, he inexplicably turned in a girl. Deeming his new form Flamma, he was able to pursue interests he couldn't as a male and became a rising star in the modelling world with Imber as her manager. Being both male and female let him experience both sides of the story, so he was quite literally living the double life. Because of how busy he is, sometimes Imber has trouble with school, despite how intelligent he is.

A small sleigh bell hangs around her neck. *Personality: Tsugaru is very innocent, almost as if she was new to the world, and is learning as much as she can. Almost any experience is new to her. When she is given a direction, however, her childlike demeanor vanishes, replaced by a being whose only goal is completion of her objective.
