Er, according to the trope description, one of the girls does have to be an Alpha Bitch and she was friends with another girl who tends to be a freaky loner, only something happened and they're no longer friends and they hate each other. Though sometimes they get over it and are friends again.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickYes, but several of the examples suggest otherwise. For example, the first one says "her libbiness is debatable". Of course, maybe that just means the definition is good but some of the examples are wrong.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! That means that those examples should be cut. We don't redefine for a couple of bad examples. We cut bad examples.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickFriend Turned Alpha Bitch works well enough.
Have we any other names to suggest?
Friend Turned Alpha Bitch or Friend Became Alpha Bitch works for me.
"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong.Friend Turned Alpha Bitch works for me too.
I'm a Troper!!!Is it really friend turned Alpha Bitch? It sounds more like Formerly Friends With Alpha Bitch.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.Frequently, yes. For example, they were friends in primary school, and she became alpha bitch later.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Maybe 60% of the time. There's a large amount of time in chick flicks through where the Alpha Bitch has always been the Alpha Bitch, the other character just got sick of being one of her followers.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThe trope as written seems to be about the relationship between these two girls, rather than any one of them.
Former Friend of Alpha Bitch? That doesn't say anything about whether she was an Alpha Bitch when they were friends or not.
So, Friend Turned Alpha Bitch has support for the rename. Should we switch to it now? There's not much work that needs to be done for this trope, should be quick. Or do we want to go through with the crowner since Former Friend of Alpha Bitch was also raised?

I'd say go for that as the most supported option, and add the other one as a redirect.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Crowner, make it official, lets see what else people can come up with.
"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong. Why is there no crowner attached to this? Hollering.
Keeper of The Celestial FlameI wouldn't like Friend Turned Alpha Bitch since it's not always correct. Maybe Former Friend Alpha Bitch (rather than of Alpha Bitch)?
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyCrowner blank hooked. Fill it up.
And if you want a crowner made or hooked, you need to use the Holler button to let the mods know, rather than just mentioning it in the thread.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.How important is "alpha" in terms of this trope? I think My Old Friend The Bitch works, if one can accept the inherent misogyny in the name.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Bump again. This has clearly been decided, judging by the votes. Why has no action been taken on it?
Calling the crowner. Do the rename.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickIs this thread done, then?
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon Stewart
Crown Description:
This trope is named after The Libby, which was recently renamed to the Alpha Bitch. It stands to reason that this trope should be renamed too.
Also, reading the trope page I think it doesn't really have much to do with Alpha Bitch in the first place. It's about two characters (generally girls in high school or college) that used to be good friends and now they're not. So I don't think that naming it Alpha Bitch My Old Friend is really going to work.
Suggestions, please?
