:D◊
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialI'm of mixed opinion.
The backstory begs for a more serious telling. Keep the frantic running and gunning style of play from the first with a bit more gravitas to the story and I'm sold.
Although if it's still chock-full of humor, that's groovy.
Happiness is zero-gee with a sinus cold. The first four posts adequately summed up my reaction.
I must be an outlier. FEELS GOOD MAN.
Happiness is zero-gee with a sinus cold. When the game's main draw is the crapload of guns, RPG elements and cartoony visual style and humor, I don't think the story really matters that much. But that's just my opinion.

You said something vaguely negative about the first game. Therefore, you did not adequately conform to my viewpoint on it.
My hopes for the sequel? Third person viewpoint, fully customizable characters, and Melee weapons having a big focus. Complete with all the insane random generation the guns get.
If it has those three things i will buy five copies of the game at launch.

By fully customizable, you mean down to appearance, right? Because I'm totally down with pointless customization. Hell, it got me to play City of Heroes and Brink.
Although yeah, the backstory seemed kinda forced in in the final product.
I put on my robe and tinfoil hat...Yeah. If there's one fault that the original game had, it was forcing you to play one of four premade characters. They where just an artifact from the earlier and probably not as fun "Serious" build of the game anyways.
It's soemthing i want rectified. I want to recreate my Soul Calibur samurai sword-swinging Sarashi-stylin' girl squad.
I dunno. I think "CRITICAL, BITCH!" made up for it.
I put on my robe and tinfoil hat...The humor in the first game did make up for apparent lack of depth. Plus, Nine Toes had such an awesome entrance despite being a pathetically weak boss.
"YOU JUST WOKE THE WRONG DOG"
He would've been a nice recurring character, I think.
Happiness is zero-gee with a sinus cold.Looking forward to that!
I now go by Graf von Tirol.Personally, I would want more story, because it leads to more opportunities for humor. When there are more story cutscenes, we can have a lot more clever dialogue.
One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderHonestly, I played a lot of Borderlands, but eventually it just got repetitive. There wasn't nearly as much gun variation as they said, and it mostly boiled down to attachments and whatnot. Plus there was no equipment outside of weapons, which was a euphoric cockblock of sorts.
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."Equipment: Shields, class mods and health packs. ...yeah, more would be nice. But at leastt there were vheicles. That made life fun.
Happiness is zero-gee with a sinus cold.Vehicle. Singular.
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."ALL OF MY MONEY. TAKE IT.
But seriously, more specific character customization would be nice.
And more weapons. Always love more weapons.
And whoever said melee weapons above, YES. Give them mods too. Acidic fists FTW.
I iz happy now. More of the same would do me fine.
All I really want is non-buggy rockets.
Crockets?
Vehicles. Plural. But you do need the General Knoxx DLC to get them. I like the APC for just how totally cool it is, but I'm more likely to pick the speed buggy.
The big armored truck is decent, too, but isn't particularly fast. At least it has a decent boost reserve.
Happiness is zero-gee with a sinus cold. It's looking like it will be the cover story for the next Game Informer.
Fuck yes.
