Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 confirmed.

I just got it for Christmas and I love it. The only thing missing is "let's just have this guy fight this guy" or fighting the CPU in verse. if it does I can't figure out how to make it work.

The closest you can get to that is to go to Training Mode and switch the Training Dummy Status to "Vs CPU".

I think I jammed a few buttons on my controller. Boo.

It's a little thing but it's a big fail to me.

I don't understand.

I think that means there's no 1-on-1 and no human-vs-cpu except for arcade.

Single Player versus. It's kinda a big deal. But yeah, you can do it by going into training mode.

I think he means having a CPU vs. CPU mode.

A human-vs-cpu mode would be nice. They could do it for SF 4 and S Fx TK.

Why this game wasnt released for PC???

REALLY lazy porting. If memory serves me right, it was made with a program that is used to make games for computors, and then porting them to consoles. Don't remember what it was, would be nice if someone could find that.

I've been wondering the same thing for Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus and blazblue CSEX as well.

So, i've decided to start playing again.

I've gotten into a rut in that I just do the same combos I always do in Training with anything grander currently being too high-level for me, and online isn't an option right now. There's H&H, but I already got through 1P mode that every fight is in an uncomfortable difficulty.

Any ideas on refreshing the game for me? <Other than the cards, i'm already gonna try that tomorrow.>

Invite some friends over for some offline versus?

For me, that's when this game is the most fun. Especially if said friends are at your skill level.

Sorry to be a bubble burster but if Capcom wanted to do DLC, they would have done it ages ago. I don't think I've ever known a game that started doing DLC two years after release (not counting games that constantly do DLC, like Rock Band).

However, if they do end up doing it... PLEASE PLEASE PUT IN CHUCK GREENE!!!!

^^ That's true, playing with my buddies does get interesting. The problem is that they're a little younger, so they can't really get into the full spectrum of the game (for instance, one of them likes to spam Vergil's H-S-H a lot), but there's handicapping, so there is a full challenge for me.

Actually, I never got around to getting Jill and Shuma. Having unplayed characters again will no doubt bring some spice, but untill then, i've kinda hit a wall here.

I keep hoping for Doctor Octopus, not because Doctor Octopus is particularly important, but because he sounds like an awesomely gimmicky character.

Yeah, I thought it was weird how he was absent in Ultimate despite being in the code for vanilla MvC3.

On Doc Ock: Doc Ock does sound pretty cool as a playable character, doesn't it? Plus, having been worked on with Frank during Vanilla 3 gives him some actual precedence <and that might be why so many people ask for him in the first place, beyond him being a non-Venom Spidey villain.>
