Which leaves Madoka's only feat of offensive power in question, since she's just destroying her own witch.

And technically even THAT is part of her wish: She wants to prevent the creation of ALL witches, so obviously she has to be able to erase her own witch form. Even if, as SF Debris put it "Madoka's witch form looks like it can beat up Yog-Soggoth and take his lunch money."

There's literally no measure of what Madoka can or can't do against something that isn't a witch.

Right, I agree with that part. That's why I said it was also in question.

At the end of the day, Madoka just can't be used in a Death Battle.

Ghilz, you forgot the last part of Madoka's wish: "With my own hands."

The exact quote is as follows:

According to Doki's translation: I want to eliminate all Witches before their birth. Every single Witch in every universe, past and the future, under my own power.

According to Meguca's translation: I want to erase all Witches before they are even born. I will erase every single Witch in every universe, past and future, with my own hands.

So yes, the "I want do it personally" is part and parcel of her wish, to every Witch whose existence is to be erased.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.

And that matters in the context of a deathbattle? right. none at all.

That doesn't change what happened in the scene. Just pointing out a dialogue change doesn't change what was done at all.

It does because it's not by the power of the wish that lets her do it, it's her own power that did it.

Who would be a good opponent for Geralt from The Witcher? I've heard Claymores are essentially female Witchers but I have no idea how strong they are.

An Assassin? Maybe Altair or Ezio.

In any case, I think by Death Battle's standards "erasing" someone would be considered doing them in. It is, after all, only not death by a technicality.

Hmm... I wonder how Snake vs. Raiden would go. Unless the Revengeance form is just too much for Snake.

Too much, I think. Gray Fox as the first Cyborg Ninja was almost certainly holding back a lot on Snake. I mean, compare his performance in-fight to when he goes Ax-Crazy from that sudden bout of exruciating agony after the fight. Ain't no way Snake would've had a chance against Batshitcrazy!Fox; he would've been cut to ribbons before he blinked.

Now consider that Raiden is implicitly supposed to be superior to Cyborg Fox in every way, at least technologically speaking.

"just"?

I mean, it was a pretty damn powerful witch. Was about to destroy the planet, and then probably move on from there.

Wasn't her only direct kill, either. I distinctly remember her shooting down Walpurgisnacht. Which is not surprising, since a previous and weaker version of herself did the same, implied to be a one-shot kill.

I have a message from another time...

Quite a bit of salt from that first Akuma vs. Kenpachi match? Nonetheless, hey, I'm open for a rematch...

There are a shit ton of Jojo Characters they could do in DB though Jotaro and Dio are the most likely especially since Dio vs Alucard is a really good match up (Plus we get Hellsing Abridged Alucard and JJBA Abridged Dio

OMM: Oh hey, a DC character finally won one of these! Good match, too (though I'm not a fan of the Mortal Kombat close-ups)

This match-up would be good for a Death Battle, too.

I hear it suggested that Jonathan may be closer to Kenshiro's level.

As much as ATATATATATATATATATATA vs. ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA/MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA amuses me, stands are kinda ridiculous that there are few peers.
