I will consume not only your flesh, but your very soul.hard to kill = Antichrist
...I'm sorry, what
Exactly, hard to kill like the example I mentioned.
That One Boss is the trope you have been searching for.
I will consume not only your flesh, but your very soul."hard to kill = Antichrist"?!?!?!?
...I'm sorry, what
^ You already said that, my love.
I will consume not only your flesh, but your very soul. Here, let me emphasize the word I'm confused about: Antichrist and the fact that being hard to kill makes someone an antichrist
Unless it's just a metaphor or something and you honestly meant something along the lines of That One Boss then christ why didn't you say something like that in the first place

The sin of silence when they should protest makes cowards of men.Perhaps he means just characters in video games that usually hold the position of being all time evil and are just hard to kill by consequence due to the nature of video games and bosses.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated.I thought this thread was about Bobby Kotick. Turns out it's Rasputin.
This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet.Probably, but "Antichrist" is definitely not the most fortunate choice of words.
The sin of silence when they should protest makes cowards of men.lol, Shin Megami Tensei.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated.I think what he means is a character who appears in multiple franchises as combatable antagonist, for which I say Fidel Castro is not one to hold that prestigious (in fact, I think there's a game were you play as him?). Satan, on the other hand, has a good claim in that title, whether correctly attributed or not.

I'd say either Darkness or Chaos has a better claim to that title, you're always fighting some personified form of those.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated.I'd say Chaos is also pretty good.
Or you know, Hitler.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated.Don't we have a trope for this? Historical Villain Upgrade?

Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!I think I follow his logic, as horrible as the conclusion is.
Antichrist = hard to kill because Jesus died, therefore he was not particularly hard to kill
I have a message from another time...That's just a Villain with Good Publicity. Not the (or an in this case) Antichrist, which is a far more specific thing.

Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!The Demifiend from Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne is pretty much the antichrist. Also you play as him.
But PARIAH has this thing about infecting every living thing he touches. Maybe that's how he can end the world.
What I'm saying of this topic is to think about what video game villain would fit into this. For instance, I think Fidel Castro, because in the games The Godfather Part II and Call of Duty: Black Ops, he is hard to kill even when playing as the character who would try to kill him.
