Show its taking energy from the source, that'll do.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackExactly. That's what a spirit bomb is in DBZ. It's a giant energy ball.
...But you do have somewhat of a point. The very description of the trope is just vague enough to demonstrate it through any number of the other half-dozen or so tropes listed in it's description. It could be a combined team attack with the leader firing it off.

The problem with the picture is that it doesn't demonstrate the trope very well. It shows some dude who looks like a criminal, if you're not familiar with the source material, holding a giant blue beach ball and looking pissed. This picture doesn't work if you don't, in fact, know what's happening. I have no idea what that is.
Things of mine keep getting deleted. I curse too much.Motion to pull.
Doesn't show the trope well.
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things.Secoding for 's reasons...hell, it's so vague that it could be Goku showing off the awesome job he did shaving his pits.

Motion thirded, until we find a replacement.

Things of mine keep getting deleted. I curse too much.Would this◊ be any better at all? What with showing ehe enrgy flowing into it.
But probably not better enough. Wasn't there a shot from space, showing the energy collecting, at one point in the series?
I have a message from another time...Not any better.
The trope is about combining a bunch of people's powers to create one giant attack. The suggested pics don't show that at all.
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things.Care Bear Stare, perhaps?

Bump.
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things.Until someone can show some hypothetical good picture, I'm for leaving it imageless.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storySo basically the trope namer is too vague to even be pictured on the trope page it is named after.

That's not rare at all.
The trope namer is the trope namer because it was a good example of the trope. A good example of the trope doesn't always make a good image.
Reaction Image RepositoryShall we lock this thread? It's been two months and nobody's suggested a viable image, so there's nothing to discuss here.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! While I like those pics, I believe this trope is "somebody collects energy from an entire population into the form of a ball, then throws it" (yes, it's on the TRS for that exact reason), so I don't think the Care Bears are an example.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Yeah, that wasn't a very good suggestion.
Why not have a montage of everybody giving Goku their energy to use for a Spirit Bomb?
How about this?◊ Its from Inukami. As clearly visible in the pic, a number of people are sending energy to one person, who is then firing it at something.
7 and 8 of Pretty Cure look alright, but I think my suggestion is more direct.
This will be hard to find a good picture; the current one has to go, though. It's Goku with an Energy Ball, but that's it.
