It has been a year since the traitorous creature known as Omega was exiled to a place of void an nothingness. It has been a year since an unlikely group of beings fought their way free from the clutches of their captors, the enigmatic Nomads, who had forced them to take part in a bizarre series of competitions for their own amusement. And it seemed that, for a time, the Nomad's machinations had ended, and the people of the myriad realities were free to live their lives free of divine interference.
They were wrong.
Now, a year after the final Challenge, strange new forces are beginning to conspire. Old and new beings alike will find themselves caught up in a brand new quest for survival and freedom among unlikely backdrops, a quest that will bring them to the edge of... infinity.
Hello, and welcome to the signup thread for A Game Of Gods: Infinities. First of all, thanks for taking an interest in the thread, and I hope you'll sign up for this game. As the old Forum RP hands are familiar with, all the standard rules apply- autohitting, godmodding, ghosting, metagaming, etc. are unacceptable like in any other game.

Challenges
The basic premise of the game is quite similar to last season, with a group of heroes and/or villains taking on challenges, often pitting them against heroes or villains from another universe. To begin with, we will be working through a glut of challenges leftover from the previous round, but after that people will be able to suggest and implement their own challenges.
This season, Two challenges will usually run at once. A secondary challenge will takeplace alongside the primary challenge, giving new layers something to do or an alternative to the primary challenge. This may affect what happens to your character in the long run, so choose wisely!
If you have an idea for a challenge, feel free to consult any of the GMs: Stratofarious, Troydenite and Flanker66. Remember, if nothing else, please try to keep challenges brief and manageable! 2 weeks is the maximum time a challenge should take, and please be sure that you or someone else will be able to see it through to completion.

Seeing as you were already in it, I don't see why not. Keep in mind that taking up a new character might leave you with precious little room for development.

- His powerset was changed a couple updates ago. Is it OK for me to list his modified set here for approval?
- It seems I have vastly under-equipped him. Since I don't think I've mentioned too much of his equipment, can I list another setup here for him?

Arright, partial C/P time.
- Name: Excalibur.
- Appearance: Front, with the Jaw Sword;
◊ back;◊ with the Strun Wraith;◊ with the Vaykor Marelok.◊
- Universe: Warframe.
- Personality: Excalibur is a warrior first and foremost. A survivor of the Void, the Orokin built a Warframe around his being as an act of desperation when they were losing their war against the Sentients. He is single-minded, quiet, determined. Driven, a soldier that will stop at nothing to defeat his foes.
Yet he is also malleable. A long cyro-sleep has left him with barely any memories, and his service under the Lotus — trying to maintain balance in the Origin System — did not fill them. He is looking for a purpose, for an enemy to conquer, for a people to defend. He is also looking for himself. - Powers:
- Parkour, speed, strength, endurance: Excalibur is stronger, faster, and tougher than a human. He can jump higher, run faster, run on walls, back-flip, and the like. The Warframe is equipped with rechargeable shields that soak up damage and is pretty durable besides.
- Slash Dash: Excalibur dashes and zigzags between enemies within a cone 12 meters long and cuts them down with his Exalted Blade. If no enemies are present, he dashes forward. Consumes a small amount of energy.
- Radial Blind: Excalibur summons and raises his Exalted Blade, releasing an intense flash of light that affects all enemies within 25 meters and blinds them for 15 seconds. Consumes a small amount of energy.
- Radial Javelin: Excalibur summons 12 javelins against enemies within a radius of 25 meters. Excalibur then drives his weapon into the ground, launching the javelins into their targets. Enemies that survive the damage are temporarily stunned. Consumes a moderate amount of energy.
- Exalted Blade: Excalibur draws an ethereal longsword and wields it as his melee weapon. Normal attacks inflict high base damage with a range of 2 meters and fire Sword Beams that cut through anything in their path and vanish after travelling 40 metres. Wall attacks inflict four times that amount. Spin attacks inflict a little damage and blind enemies within 5 meters over a duration of 6 seconds. Leap attacks inflict roughly the same damage as normal attacks and knock enemies down within 5 meters. It is also affected by the Jaw Sword's mods (see below). Continuously consumes energy while active.
- Strun Wraith: Excalibur found the Strun Wraith stashed in a den of Feral Kubrow on Earth. It is a quick-firing shotgun, firing 20 pellets per round. Excalibur modded it for Viral (shots infect enemies with a virus that makes them frailer and easier to kill) and Radiation (addles a target's mind, reducing its firing accuracy and forcing it to engage the nearest target, be it friend or foe) damage.
- Vaykor Marelok: Excalibur received this customised shortened Grineer rifle from the Steel Meridian syndicate as thanks for services rendered. He modded it for Magnetic (reduces shield capacity and generally wrecking havoc on things EMPs aren't good for) and Gas (releases a cloud of poisonous gas) damage. It also sports an innate Justice effect — once enough enemies are killed, it unleashes a radial explosion, dealing a high amount of Blast damage to any enemy nearby, healing Excalibur and increasing his durability for 30 seconds.
- Jaw Sword: The Jaw Sword is a uniquely-shaped sword with a serrated edge, favoured by the Arbiters of Hexis syndicate. Excalibur modded it for Blast (knocks enemies down) and Corrosive (releases acid that eats through armour) damage. As thanks for services rendered, the Arbiters of Hexis gifted Excalibur with the Blade of Truth mod. With this modification, killing enough enemies unleashes radial explosion of Gas damage, heals Excalibur and further increases his endurance for 30 seconds.
