It has been a year since the final challenge took place.
It has been a year since the traitorous creature known as Omega was exiled to a place of void an nothingness. It has been a year since an unlikely group of beings fought their way free from the clutches of their captors, the enigmatic Nomads, who had forced them to take part in a bizarre series of competitions for their own amusement. And it seemed that, for a time, the Nomad's machinations had ended, and the people of the myriad realities were free to live their lives free of divine interference.
They were wrong.
Now, a year after the final Challenge, strange new forces are beginning to conspire. Old and new beings alike will find themselves caught up in a brand new quest for survival and freedom among unlikely backdrops, a quest that will bring them to the edge of... infinity.
Hello, and welcome to the signup thread for A Game Of Gods: Infinities. First of all, thanks for taking an interest in the thread, and I hope you'll sign up for this game. As the old Forum RP hands are familiar with, all the standard rules apply- autohitting, godmodding, ghosting, metagaming, etc. are unacceptable like in any other game.

Challenges
The basic premise of the game is quite similar to last season, with a group of heroes and/or villains taking on challenges, often pitting them against heroes or villains from another universe. To begin with, we will be working through a glut of challenges leftover from the previous round, but after that people will be able to suggest and implement their own challenges.
This season, Two challenges will usually run at once. A secondary challenge will takeplace alongside the primary challenge, giving new layers something to do or an alternative to the primary challenge. This may affect what happens to your character in the long run, so choose wisely!
If you have an idea for a challenge, feel free to consult any of the GMs: Stratofarious, Troydenite and Flanker66. Remember, if nothing else, please try to keep challenges brief and manageable! 2 weeks is the maximum time a challenge should take, and please be sure that you or someone else will be able to see it through to completion.

Alright, so here we go! I spoilered a good deal of stuff for anyone that just walks in here. If there are any problems, or if I need to remove stuff, just let me know!

- Personality: Hailing from Hope's Peak Academy, school for the most gifted students in the world, Junko is known as the Ultimate Fashionista, having become a modeling idol before she even graduated from middle school. In spite of her title and background, Junko is very much an average, if trendy, charismatic high school girl. She is highly confident and motivated in pursuing her goals, and can easily come up with a plan for any occasion. Is actually known more formally as the Ultimate Despair. Dangerously manipulative, impulsive and almost certifiably insane. Whenever she gets bored, she thinks up a new personality for herself. Though she knows how to effectively hide it, she has no sympathy or empathy for anyone. Despair is the only thing she truly cares about, and what she's devoted her existence to. She will do anything to cause despair, whether it be to herself or others.
- Abilities/Powers:
- Ultimate Charisma: Junko is easily able to convince people into helping her. She knows how to tell people what they want or really don't want to hear.
- Ultimate Strength: While no Ultimate Soldier, she is deceptively stronger than an average high school girl, and can endure much more than an average human being.
- Ultimate Subterfuge: Junko is able to make up a lot of things on the fly. It can be almost impossible to tell if she's lying or acting about something. However, she'll only keep up a charade for as long as she's not bored by it. Which can be sporadic.

Did you know this section has a character limit?
Hmm. We actually have a game dedicated to villains, Eclipse Of The Gods.
On the other hand, this character looks like they work best as a wolf amongst the sheep, if you get what I mean.
That's what I was thinking. After all, you can't cause much despair to a bunch of villains. Especially when you're just an ordinary trendy high school girl! But yeah, I feel like she would be better in a situation where she can really be monstrous without a lot of competition. Her main suit is manipulation, and that'd be harder surrounded by other manipulators or characters that wouldn't really give a damn.
Also apparently someone was Monobear in the Eclipse of Gods. Wouldn't want to tread over covered ground.

Hmm. My only concern is that in many of the places we visit, wifi won't exist. For example, the next Challenge -or mission- will be set in a cave.That might prove a big drawback.
