I like Still Alive better on its own, but from a plot perspective, Want You Gone reveals more interesting stuff.

Infinite Tree: an experimental storyWant You Gone.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Want You Gone shows the effects of Glad OS' gradual humanization throughout Portal 2's storyline, so it isn't nearly as twisted or obtuse as Still Alive. It's different, but I can't say whether it's better or worse.
still alive was a surprise, so I guess I like it better for that.
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?I think I like Want You Gone better.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelI liked "Stay Alive" until every nerd ever decided to play it and quote it constantly until it got run into the earth's core like that "the cake is a lie" joke.
So yeah, I like Want You Gone better.

Every time someone mentions "Still Alive", I think of a different song from a different game.
Anyway, I think I prefer Still Alive (and this time, yes, I mean the Portal song).
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Fans ruined Still Alive (and everything else from portal) for me...so I guess Want You Gone wins by default.
Want You Gone. It's very different from Still Alive and so it took some getting used to, but I find I like it better.
I love both equally.
I will consume not only your flesh, but your very soul.'Still Alive' was funnier, but 'Want you Gone' is a better song, musically speaking. The guitar work is great.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI love them both, but I'll give Want You Gone a slight edge for being better musically than Still Alive. They're both on my mp3 player and I've listened to them both hundreds of times.
That’s the epitome of privilege right there, not considering armed nazis a threat to your life. - SilaswStill Alive remains my favorite for its Black Comedy. Want You Gone is, however, much better at conveying GLaDOS' personality and emotional state. Both pieces are very appropriate and well written, so it's kind of a tossup.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Haven't heard Want You Gone yet. I did however get a chance to show about five people the ending to the first one because they hadn't seen it yet.
Fight smart, not fair.I preffered Want you Gone because I wanted to listen to it as a song in itself.
Want You Gone. It takes advantage of GLaDOS's VA better. Plus, I find it catchier.
I would not say Still Alive got to be all that grating for me; I still think it's a fun song.
Want You Gone is catchier, though. Has that sense of motion I fall for so easily.
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?
Just wanted to do a quick online poll- which is the better Portal song, Still Alive or Want You Gone?
