Yep. That sounds like a plan. And I like Power-Up Mount as well.

Is Power-Up Mount better than Mount Powerup? What about Instant Mount?

Rhymes with "Protracted."

Mount Powerup sounds like having... inappropriate relations with powerups. Instant Mount sounds somewhat broader than the trope definition.

Mount Powerup sounds like a powerup that powers up your mount. Instant Mount is a broader trope.

I dislike Mount Powerup because it sounds like a... Oh, Shima beat me to it.

Support for Power-Up Mount. Other options/redirects: Pocket Horse, Instant Transport Just Add Water.

Mount Powerup works for me.

Should we make a crowner?

Silent and Senshi: Give us your reasons why you prefer Mount Powerup to Power-Up Mount, please?

To me the first one sounds like something that powers-up your mount, while the second one sounds like a power-up that is a mount.

Mount Powerup sounds like the name of a mountain.

I didn't write any of that.

How about Powerup Steed? If Power-Up Mount can refer to some "inappropriate things" or a mountain in which you find a powerup, Powerup Steed should be clearer.

One problem: Powerup Steed kinda gives the impression that it's just about video game horses, like Epona and Agro.

And none of those would be an example. They would be Instant Mount (see my YKTTW)

[up][up][up][up]I haven't seen anyone make those complaints about Power-Up Mount. What people have said is that Mount Powerup sounds indecent or misleading.

[up][up][up]I don't see why that confusion would occur. Those are videogame horses that the PC rides, but they don't function as powerups.

I've hooked the single prop, but considering that absolutely no objection to renaming was offered, it doesn't need to stay open long.

Rhymes with "Protracted."

There is no real argument for keeping the name. Should we start a alternate name crowner?

Unanimous at +12 in two hours? Yeah, we've got consensus to rename.

Locking the single prop, hooking an alternative names blank.

It's not letting me add new items. I can add them to other crowners, but not this one.

I think that there were two with the same name. Did I get all the options?

Hate to sound like a dope, but how does one vote in the forums? Don't seem able to have my monkey caveman fingers make it happen.

Get a slant at this glossary of Pulp Detective terms. It rates. Pipe that?

Crown Description:

Vote up names you like, vote down names you don't. Whether or not the title will actually be changed is determined with a different kind of crowner (the Single Proposition crowner). This one just collects and ranks alternative titles.
