Seconding Metal Gear Solid 4.

I don't want to have to buy a PS 3 to finish the series! D:

I'd still like to see Quest 64 released on the VC, and it's not hard to use a single block for a few saves. Anyway, at the most, the graphics and frame rate could be cleaned up, as well as the slowdown. It doesn't need anything more. Now, a port on the DS would be great. It's the perfect time to use the stylus to select items and spells, or to use the Start Menu.

The first Smash could be neatly ported to the 3DS, with few changes. Like being able to play as the Polygons, Metal Mario, and Giant Donkey Kong in multiplayer only(Master Hand has glitches when using certain attacks, and other reasons), as well as seperating the Green and Red Shells. It doesn't really need anything more overall. Not to say other playable characters, maybe all the single player and beta courses fixed up. Those would be neat too.

A fixed up version of Sonic The Hedgehog 2006 on the Wii. It'll either be better or a Porting Disaster. And since it's old... I'd say 20-30 dollars at the most. Maybe 40 if you stretch it.

Isn't there already a thread for this?

Anyways:

Brutal Legend, Red Dead Redemption, Limbo, LA Noire...

hell, just about anything made for consoles also for PC.

[up] I second this! First and only Vanilla Ware game I played was Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and it OWNS!

A Vanilla Ware game for the Wii U, whether port or something new, would be nice!

That American Mc Gee's Alice wasn't ported to anything like Steam when the sequel came out baffles me. Or does that count as a port?

Parasite Eve 1 and 2 ported to the 3DS, prefferably in a single cartridge.

Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII on the PSP or the 3DS (though I'd probably prefer it to be remade for them, but beggars can't be choosers...)

Portal 1 and 2 to the Wii or the Wii U.

Red Dead Redemption, Limbo, L.A. Noire...

Definitely. Console games are too expensive these days, and I only bought Red Dead Redemption since it was on sale on Boxing Day.

Rocket Robot On Wheels to either the DS or the 3DS.

Make it happen, Sucker Punch. For those of us who have fond memories of swinging around Whoopie World.

Dragon's Crown to anything not PS 3.

Super Robot Wars OG 2 (née 3) from PS 3/V to the 3DS.

Nifflas's Night Sky to XBLA and/or Mac.

For that matter, a ton of other small/indie developer made games to Mac.

[up][up][up]I would gladly kill a few people for an updated re-release of Super Metroid, or any of the 2D Metroids in fact.

Doesn't RE 5 already have RE 4-Wii style controls via some kind of DLC for Playstation Move?

But how many PS 3 owners bother with the Move?

Sony/Sony's audience have been mocking the Wii for such a long time in order to cater to it's own audience that a large chunk of the audience who would have liked the Move have alienated themselves from getting it as well.

Unless you have a girlfriend who's looking for a nice glowy dildo, not many people have the Move.

Oh yeah, flip off the retarded copyright laws, and port/translate ALL the Mother series to the Wii Ware or as a collection please.

And if any douchebag tries to sue, just post their address and contact info online.

I haven't, I will admit, in spite of the fact that RE 4-Wii>>>>>normal RE 4.

Seriously, I think that 90% of wiimote usage is dumb annoying useless waggle nonsense, but for nu-RE it is truly the only way... I can't go back.

I'd have bought a Move already if didn't think RE 5 was kind of meh to begin with. I'd rather have a new RE game on Wii* than a RE 5 downgrade or RE 5 + Move, personally.

House Of The Dead Overkill was pretty meh...it felt like a grindhouse movie, and the game was far too short to be a bought game.

Short games are unforgivable.

Would make a kickass arcade game though!

[up]I replayed it like crazy. Keep in mind that normal mode in that game is just a guided tour, score attack on Director's Cut is where it's at.

That's merely replay value. But by the time you play it again, most of the "wow!" or "holy crap!" or "the black guy swore more than a blaxploitation character!" is all gone...it's still an entertaining, but it climaxed already and it feels like I'm just sticking around with it because I paid it and can't get my money back...

Yet it just wouldn't be the same as when you first started...

For Ports...I'd also like Dead Rising on either Wii or Wii U...I know theres a Wii version of Dead Rising, except that game has been completely screwed over by Idiot Programmer.

The Wii was capable of doing a LOT more than what Dead Rising Wii gave(as games future games have shown). In the end, people put 100% of the blame on the lack of processing power rather than the Idiot Programming that we got from the lazy-ass programmers.
