1. I usually play in English, recent Polish localizations either have utterly shitty translation (sometimes with grammatical and spelling errors), or subpar voice acting, or both. Examples? Bionic Commando 2009: "soljer" can "swyng" and "drop doun" (if those sound absolutely retarded to you, that's good - those are errors you can make in elementary school, but not when working as a fucking translator!). More examples? Check the "Blind Idiot" Translation page, it's very common here.
2. I stay away from Poles and Polish servers online, they're usually whiny retarded kids not yet out of junior high.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisIn English, since there's no reason to localize games what with Filipino gamers being a bunch whose English can often be better than that of an American's.
INT is knowing a tomato is a fruit. WIS is knowing it doesn't belong in a fruit salad. CHA is convincing people that it does.English, as I learned most of my English via videogames Also, i like seeing the original versions, and i hate jokes puns etc that get lost in translation
My strategy is non existentAmen to that. But then again, it could just be that the Americans you're running into online are just being lazy and don't care to proofread before posting.

I always try to get games in English, mainly because it's the only other language I understand and things just sound stupid in French (seriously, things like "Je vais te tuer!" just doesn't have the same ring as "I'm gonna kill you!"). Also, most french dubber just sounds wrong.
As for servers, I don't have much choice. Developers seems to think one of two things: "Oh, Québec, they're surrounded by Anglophones, just hook 'em on the English servers in Canada/America" OR "Oh, Québec, they speak french, just hook 'em on the French server in Europe." So my option is either a)Connect with people right next to me or b)connect with people on the other side of the ocean and discover I can teleport.
Who's an angry moth? You are! Yes you are! You're the fuzziest and angriest moth! Original pic.
1. Whatever version is easier to install. If there's a language selection feature, I'll normally pick German though, unless I know beforehand that the English version is vastly superior.
2.German because of geographical closeness, it has the best ping.
That's it for games, for other media I pick subs/the original if available and if I can understand it.
