Mario uses a cartoonish mallet...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Now, what Nintendo should do is cross over Panel de Pon with Puyo Puyo. Those series are just begging for it, and it'd be a much less shoehorned crossover than this one.
Should = Want
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. You'd have an easier time getting a crossover with the Tinkerbell movies.
I'd be all for a Panel De Pon + Tinkerbell crossover...hell, Tinker Bell is technically in the public domain, so it'd be easy. The only other Panel De Pon crossover that really makes sense to me is with Panel De Pon, specifically the Super Nintendo Fairies have an adventure with the Game Cube Fairies...which is why, if I was working for Nintendo I'd make a Panel de Pon meets Arcana crossover. No one who didn't visit TV Tropes forums would see it coming...and after that got shot down, just bring back the two sets of fairies with the mechanics from the Animal Crossing match three entry, suggesting a bundle if there was real fear of it flopping.
That also had me curious how well a Super Mario match three would really sell, until I remembered Tetris Attack. Either the non "Island" Yoshi games just fail to leave an impression on me or Midna's love for fairies is starting to rub off. Still, an actual attempt to put a "Mario" spin on a match three game, rather than a misleadingly named Dolled-Up Installment, would be interesting. Perhaps a Rise to the Challenge deal where Mario jumps with every chain?
Hyrule Warriors is one of my favorite Zelda games. No joke.
As for Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, it doesn't look too bad? Honestly, the only off-putting thing I've seen so far is that you don't control the characters directly. It would've been better, of course, if it were a Mario/Rayman crossover (featuring Rayman, Globox, Barbara, and Murfy instead of four Rabbids), but that doesn't mean the game we're actually getting isn't going to be good.
Those documents do seem to think poorly of the Mario games, but, remember, Ubisoft is French. Their entire shtick, as a culture, is being edgier-than-thou. Chances are we're not going to see much Mario-bashing in the game itself. And even then, it's guaranteed to be nothing we haven't already seen in games like Super Paper Mario.
I'm going to wait until I actually see some gameplay before I pass judgment, but so far, color me nonplussed.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?It's more of a strategy RPG ala XCOM, so direct control isn't necessarily an issue.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau Project@Drag: I love Persona 4. It's not that the time limit is really an issue as much as the fact that I like to take my time is. Thanks to the time limit, I know I'm going to be missing a lot of things if I'm not following a guide and I hate knowing that I'm missing something. Especially when that something is juicy character bits which is about 80% of the reason why I love Person 4.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!@ Midna: A Panel de Pon + Puyo Puyo crossover would require permission from Sega, but it would be a good game. I mean, Puyo Puyo Tetris is already a thing.
I'm pretty sure someone up there in Nintendo/Ubisoft's offices thought this new crossover would make way more money than a new Panel/Metroid/F-Zero/Wars/Child of Light/Valiant Hearts... or a Mario + Rayman crossover...
Sure they could be wrong in gauging the market and have this game sell bad, but yeah, someone probably did think about it.

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! This is kind of Nintendo's bag these days. Work with third parties on Nintendo-based games and get them into your ecosystem.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI just heard about this and I'm more confused than anything. Also why does that one picture say turtle shelves?
This song needs more love.Internal slides don't bother with proofreading when translating from French I presume.
One of the levels will take place in a Paper Mario-esque Koopa Village, and you'll be able to weaponize their furniture Tom & Jerry style

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Everything you ever needed to know about walls, floors, ceilings, and out-of-bounds:
I keep thinking of what I'd like to see in a hypothetical sequel to Super Mario RPG.
I know I want more characters to join the party. Booster and Johnny C. Jones, since they're such memorable characters from the original game that get a lot of fanfare only for the story to discard them once their "chapter" is over. Also, another Mario character, like Yoshi or Rosalina.
Since Smithy is based on Yaldabaoth, maybe the new villain should be based on Abraxas? Or should it just be Smithy again?
Also, if I may get dangerously DeviantArt-y for a moment, there should be an evil being from the Star Road that takes the form of a "modern" Geno doll. Like, instead of being a simple little wooden toy, it should be a new high-tech action figure. He can be the Shadow to the original Geno's Sonic.
Other characters that should totally come back are Croco, Belome, and possibly Frogfucius. But if I can only get one, then Belome.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Super Mario Sunshine is regarded as the weakest of the 3D Mario games, and right now, as I begin to tackle the secret course red coin time challenges, I'm really starting to enjoy it. The game's still hard, but I'm starting to get better at it, longer resenting jumps where I have to use the hover nozzle. Still, I do prefer Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy. The way Mario controls in those games, the greater amount of variation in missions, in areas, not needing to consult other people for nearly as much help to complete them, better swimming controls and no Pachinko machines!
Fun game, just beat Donkey Kong Country 3 before and am enjoying it "Sunshine" more, in fact I'm enjoying trying to 100% Sunshine more than trying to 100% Donkey Kong Country 2 so far(now as to whether I'll enjoy getting to Bowser/Bowser Jr more than getting to Captain K Rool is another story, since Sunshine refuses to open the way to the final boss even after all the darkness in the plaza clears up around 80 shines, and to be fair 2 may have been the only Donkey Kong Country where I didn't have to look anything up, I just hate "Screech's Sprint" at least as much as Pachinko machine.)
Whatever you think the weakest of the 3D Mario games is (and I think I would concur on Sunshine), that may only mean it's "very good" instead of "all time classic". They're all quite enjoyable in their own ways.
Never be normal. The final boss opens up once you clear the 7th mission of every level.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! In case no one put it here:
I acquired Super Mario 3D Land the other day. The game has a lot of charm, though unfortunately it's on the easy side; and the variety of bosses is deplorable (only three of them, four if you count Dry Bowser; definitely the lowest amount since Super Mario 64).
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300Mario 64 has 6 bosses, 7 if you count the big bully, 9 if you count Bowser's minor changes, 10 if you count the Ice bully, 11 if you count Mr. I, 12 if you count the 2nd Big Boo, 13 if you count the monkey.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Some of them felt more like Mini Bosses, though, due to not having the standard boss music (heard with King Bob-Omb, King Thwomp, Eyerock and Wiggler) and not having any pre- or post-battle dialogues with Mario. In fact, I have to confess that I never imagined Big Mr. I was considered a boss (or even a Boss in Mook Clothing) at all, especially since its level already had Big Boo.
At least we can agree that, even if only major bosses are counted, 64 still has more than 3D Land. The lower capacity of the 3DS when compared to the home consoles really hurt this game. At least the ones in 3D World (despite still being few in number) were more substantial and memorable (Hisstocrat, Boss Brolder and Motley Bossblob come to mind). Galaxy 2 definitely exceeded the most in quantity (there are exactly 20) and quality, IMO.
Nevertheless, like I said, 3D Land still looks and plays lovely. I can't wait to play the Zelda-inspired one (that's 5-2, alright?).
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300
And what are fireballs if not weapons?
Also, you're not the only person who remembers the Sky Pop. It was a costume in Super Mario Maker.
