Honestly, there's not a whole lot of advice I can give, since the weapon system makes every file unique. Try stuff out and see what works for you, I guess.
I sure said that! You'll probably need to get some items from playing the story first.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!American Pit is Hardcore.
I have a message from another time...I dunno, it seems to fit pretty well. Medusa is sort of trying to kill everyone, and the action sequences were true to the game.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/lb_i.php?lb_id=13239183440B34964700 Alfric's Fire Emblem Liveblog Encyclopedia!I think it's a cool commercial. I guess people might have a problem with its failure to express the game's silly side as well as the action.
That said, I still laugh at that "Scourge the heavens, sweep the earth" thing on the back of the box. For crying out loud, this is not God of War!
No, this is Angel of War.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I just went on a crafting spree and only ended up with a better Mangus Club for Together mode (even then, it has -4 defense, so yeah).
"i'm like the pimpmaster hustledaddy of all snippy bookshrews" -Dave StriderEugh. Negative Defense is one of those stats that I just absolutely cannot take with a weapon. That and Negative Hit Points. It's mostly because I always expect to be hit, so I like to be ready for that inevitable occurence. It's the same reason I just can't play without a health-regen power.
...Well, okay, the last one is because I just stink at the game. But my point stands!
"We're home, Chewie."Arguably in Together mode low defense doesn't matter so much, especially if you have good offense to compensate. But I always find good defense as being vital in solo. Health Recovery's by far my most useful solo power!
And going back to the online tips, try out different sets of powers and see what suits your play style. For ranged play I find Transparency immensely useful, and seems to be a bit overpowered combined with Invisible Shots and Quick Charge. Also, don't get distracted fighting long 1 vs. 1 duels (unless your getaway speed is diabolical). You can usually get many more kills elsewhere! This particularly applies to hunting the angel in LvD.

"If someone asks you 'What is life?' it is like them asking 'What is a carrot?'; a carrot is a carrot, we know nothing more."Speaking of Light vs. Dark, try keeping your focus on cornering the opposing angel rather than forcing him out in the open; the points they give when you've defeated them tend to be the deciding factor in who gets first place on your team, assuming you care about that sort of thing.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guySo far, the game's really fun. The repetitiveness, and shitty controls are balanced out by pure fun, and while I'm not the biggest fan of the dialogue, it has it's lawl moments. I'm playing a broken record here, but eh.
Looking forward to playing multiplayer, once I've finished the campaign or grown enough balls. Whichever comes first. Thanks for the tips, gais.

If you wanna PM me, send it to my mrsunshinesprinkles account; this one is blorked.Yup, the ideal ranged multiplayer weapon has 6 ranged and 0 melee, Shot Range +3, Shot Homing +3 and Dash ch. Shot +4. For melee weapons it would be 0 ranged 6 melee with Melee Combo +4, with a few other modifiers of your choice.
Unfortunately, many, many players have these kinds of weapons (including myself). To have any hope of winning FFAs and even some LvD matches against decent players, you're going to need something similar you might need something similar, unless you have something else that is equally good. For example, I have a 6 ranged Skyscraper Club with Standing ch. shot +3 (along with a few other things) and it works just as well, if not better.

"If someone asks you 'What is life?' it is like them asking 'What is a carrot?'; a carrot is a carrot, we know nothing more."I wouldn't really say that. There have been a few instances where my +4 Paralysis Viridi Claws with otherwise mediocre stats have actually managed to net me a few wins in FFA, for example, and all I really use those for is to dick around with the other participants on occasion.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guy...but here comes beam claws.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackIntelligent playing is the real key, though- No matter how good a weapon is, if you play like an idiot, you'll probably get served. Mind, weapon stats and so on are important, but the really important thing is figuring out what your good at doing- Sniping, melee, midrange, etc.
I sure said that!...Unless you have something else that is equally good . But yeah, that was assuming the players were all experienced and intelligent. Though you are right; it is a little exaggerated. Re-edit!
In my opinion all the aspects of multiplayer limit your performance up to a point. It's similar to how a plant grows - it might have tons of water and carbon dioxide, but hardly any sunlight, so until it has more sunlight it won't be able to improve. It's loosely related to how you can have a monstrous weapon and know the map inside-out but can't fight intelligently, and vice versa.

"If someone asks you 'What is life?' it is like them asking 'What is a carrot?'; a carrot is a carrot, we know nothing more."LvD isn't too bad. There are plenty of players running around with sub-optimal weapons, and being on a team helps to make up for your own weaknesses. Also you only have to watch out for 3 enemies.
