I think not. We do have Easy Amnesia and Laser-Guided Amnesia and Identity Amnesia, which overlap (as they're various ways a hero's amnesia can manifest). We have Ontological Mystery and its subtrope Quest for Identity, which is the type of story you're most likely to have an amnesiac hero.
I agree that we need it, though. Amnesiac Hero is a pretty well-known trope, especially in JRPG's.
Cut it and send to YKTTW.

Agree with Heatth, turning it into something presentable is what YKTTW is for. I recommend mentioning that it's something to de-emphasize the gameplay aspect.

There's a good trope here once it's made less game-specific and filled out a bit more. Needs a whole heap of Wiki Magic in the form of crosswicking from the work-forms that it's common to.

It looks like it could be a valid trope if we don't already have it. And if we do have it, what is the name of that trope because Amnesiac Hero seems pretty intuitive to me.
