Trump delenda estJudge to rule 'as quickly as possible' in Missouri same-sex marriage case.
Passage of notice:
“In each of these instances, it’s always been between a man and a woman,” said Morgan, who works for Attorney General Chris Koster. Koster supports same-sex marriage but has said he has a responsibility to defend Missouri law.

It's interesting when State Attorneys General do and don't decide to defend laws. I know PA's just told the governor's office to sod right off about defending PA's voter registration laws.
Yes, because Pennsylavania's AG is elected separately from the Governor and more importantly in synchrony with the presidential elections, unlike the Governor's office. Hence, during the 2010 elections the Republicans only took the Governor's seat, and couldn't take the AG seat in the 2012 elections.

"And the Bunny nails it!" ~ Gabrael "If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we." ~ CyranThank you guys! I'm thrilled!
My daughter's dress She chose the ruffled skirt and it was all purple and gold and brown
My dress I chose the longer skirt version in dark red, brown, and blue
The missus' Except it was modified to have a longer skirt and train like a traditional wedding dress and was done in navy blue, white and gold for her uniform colors.
The boys just wore whatever pants they wanted, vests, and old, pirate like shirts.

"And the Bunny nails it!" ~ Gabrael "If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we." ~ CyranSteampunk wedding theme, eh? Neat.
If the lady says it's okay I'll post pictures. But I don't think she'll go for that.
It is nice to have our future secure and our children protected. I don't think people realize what a weight that is, especially with having a wife who is constantly being deployed. I am grateful that we can legally take care of each other now.

(And, I agree with Silas: badass, steampunk wedding trumps "tube of toothpaste with frills" by any measure.)

That’s the epitome of privilege right there, not considering armed nazis a threat to your life. - SilaswLike I said in the main US Politics thread, it's good that it's banned, but it's scary that it had to be, since it should be laughed out of any courtroom it was bought into. Or at least treated as a insanity plee on the grounds that it's pretty much just admitting that the defendant is so mentally unhinged that they might become a bloodthirsty killer at the slightest 'provocation'.

"Psssh. Even if you could catch a miracle on a picture any person would probably delete it to make space for more porn." - AszurGLAAD releases results about LBGT representation on television!
Overall it's up at 3% and change or 32 characters out of a little over 800. It's not as high as the record 4% and change from 2012.
But this article also cites major networks, not just cable. Like the CW doesn't have any open characters at all but NBC is up from just having Glee to a few other shows having LGBT charcters.
I don't have television service so I can't attest to the quality, but from what I hear, the cable and internet sources such as Netflix do better representations of LGBT characters or at least their characters are more prominent such as in Orange is the New Black. I would attribute this to how because these are subscription based, they can afford to take more risks with their writing and their exclusivity allows them the chance to pick up better projects.
