Well, I'm now officially blonde.

Looking absolutely stunning there. Also, blonde does kinda work well for you.

Meanwhile, I'm stuck performing Exterminatus on my facial hairs every five hours or so, because the freaking things just grow back so unbelievably fast.

And on a more positive note, I ventured to the forest first time this summer. It was after rain. I always forget how good just wandering in the forest by myself feels. Really should do it more often.

Ooh a forest walk? That sounds kinda nice seeing all the birds, plants and a couple of deer maybe.

Just generally in a trash mood today. Feel like I'm at the bottom of that hopeless pit again.

Well, it's less walking, and more aimlessly roaming and occasionally looking at and smelling something interesting. And I also phase into a state of existence that could be described as Don't Think, Feel taken to a weird and feral, but most definitely soothing extreme. It's like meditation on adrenaline, without either of those things. And yes, this state of mind and my habit of just wandering around has gotten me lost quite a few times.

Also, do you want a hug? Because I can give you one.

Hey a bit of wandering isn't too bad because look I wandered into a farmer's market and now I help setup everything and get free honey and 2$ every time and a 15% discount on plants.

Somehow I'm not sure an internet hug will really help.

Right now I'm just going over my notes for Monday and seeing if there's anything I can really add to it.

I'd rather walk through the science museum or the library to clear my head, but outdoor hikes are pretty good too.

I love the outdoors! I went to/worked at Girl Scout camp for 14 years and I try to backpack at least once a summer. There's a ton to learn out it the woods. I got to see the Perseid Meteor Shower hiking in Nova Scotia and this summer I'm going to see the solar eclipse hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee

It's cool because I developed a ton of skills most New Yorkers don't have. Like the ability to identify trees by their bark and how to navigate by the stars.

Now I'm getting all sentimental...

I like to walk outdoors to.

Guess for whatever reason I just feel like a fraud again.

Plus the anxiety for Monday is kind of ramping up again. Kind of feeling like I'm going to fuck it up again.

You are not a fraud. Do you have any ways to take your mind off things? That might help, but some feelings won't go away. You just have to find other feelings to balance them out.

Life will get better, DBL. You just have to have a little hope, and find the courage buried deep within. It's always there. Sometimes it's just a little hard to find. Don't give up, alright? We're here for you.

Also, I just got back from seeing a play with my (highly cultured) squad

Welp, I got all my grades for the spring semester back. That did happen.
