@War Regarding if my brother is gay or not, he is gay. However, he has a friend. Let`s call this friend Adam. Adam used to identify as gay during puberty. Then, Adam realized that he wasn't gay and now identifies as straight. Due to this, my brother thinks my pansexuality is just a phase caused by hormones.

Ah. Well. I think I forgot to mention this, but your orientation is usually fixed after puberty.
In fact, it is usually fixed at birth, but how would you really know, as most people don't experience any sexual attraction at all until puberty. There are some things that can cause it to shift, but more likely, someone who reidentifies later is correcting an error due to insufficient evidence, rather than reidentifying because their alignment changed.
For example, I assumed I mostly liked girls until recently. But I've never met anyone whose pants I actually wanted in, so... Not enough evidence.
So thanks to the dog having some sort of stomach bug I didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night. =/
