It's... Not really like that. The main character is actually seriously traumatized by it. (it's the entire reason they end up with the rather convoluted situation they're in)

Meh, still, Hilariously Abusive Childhood has always been a Dude, Not Funny! to me, weather its being fully played for laughs or Just half way played for laughs.
Besides, if the Genders for it would be flipped around, it would be a complete Dude, Not Funny!.
Its a long story for why that is though, I don't want to derail this topic.

They hint at it pretty hard though.

and the molestation in Manyuu is something like a punishment or something they acted on lust. Not really girls' pure love, like the one you see in Milk Morinaga's works.

I know too well that what I all said are blatant denial. I just wish that you won't add anymore homosexuality to those already existing. Don't get me wrong: I like yuri, moreso if it's underage preteens doing it. But I was already set than, Ok, there is yuri here and none here. Let's just enjoy the show.

But you can't deny that Kaede(the girl that gives the sword to Chifusa at the end of the first episode) is infatuated with her. Plus, the scene where Chifusa let the other girl massage her boobs didn't seemed like a punish to me.
Still, Yuru Yuri is just subtext without any actual text.
There are some rabid Yuri and Yaoi fanboys around here(especially of Yuri) and they tend to wear a few pair of goggles on at the same time for maximum effect, that is how it is and sadly that is how it is always going to be.

^^I was joking, I think that Manyuu totally counts. The two instances of violent molestation I mentioned were the one at the very beginning with the farmer's daughter, and the one with Kaede right after Chifusa escaped. Chifusa and the farmer's daughter wasn't violent, I agree.
Speaking of Manyuu, I watched* the mostly-uncensored version a couple days ago. Turns out that getting your breasts cut off actually means they just shrink to a size that is proportional to the rest of your body and look natural. I was expecting that would only happen if Chifusa did the cutting, and everyone would actually have giant scars where their breasts should be. Now it just comes off as a bunch of women complaining that their bodies look normal, and I can't figure out if that's an improvement over horrible scarring or not.

^The show is trying its hardest to be Plot With Porn. It's failing massively, but it's trying.
The only reasons I decided to watch it was becuase of Minako Kotobuki and Bile Fascination after hearing how awful it was.
