Strix, on your closing post for Fair- is that a metaplot I see being foreshadowed? If so, that's quite ambitious.

yeyDoes that mean Mountain Resort is imminent?
I was in Fair?
Stoned hippie without the stoned. Or the hippie. My AO3 Page, grab a chair and relax.No. No you weren't, that was my mistake. I meant to address Strix Obscuro.
Sorry.
yeyHey, Sphinxyness, still waiting for you to post for your characters at the bus stop.
Also, I'm ready for the mountain resort thread to launch whenever.
I might join Resort 2: Mountain Boogaloo once it's posted. Or, at least, once I get back from being away from home. (Which is why I've refrained from joining Capital for the moment.)
Gave them our reactions, our explosions, all that was ours For graphs of passion and charts of stars...Having a busy day and don't really have time to post right now. I'll hopefully get around to it once I get home.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!@ nrjxll Sorry about that. ^^; I forgot about them for a moment. But posted for both them and Kyana.
@ Tro I'm thinking of introducing my thief at the next place Lara and them end up at.
And I'm excited for resort, I'm thinking of just throwing in my cyborg/android/not sure in there for now. Should be fun cause something I haven't mentioned is because she was primarily programmed for hacking and data gathering she doesn't understand human interaction well or really anything about humans.
"Can you imagine an imaginary menagerie manager imagining managing an imaginary menagerie?"And I've returned. I'll hopefully get to posting shortly (the "within the next couple minutes" shortly, not "in the next four hours" shortly).
If you and Tro so desire I could send the drone your way. I do need something to do with it, and I have a good idea of the actual character it's associated with.

Icon by Civvi the Civilian!I'm in favor of that. You kinda have to ask Corvidae as well, though.
I've got a shitton of homework and studying to do, so no post today. :C
"Life is eternal; and love is immortal; and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight." - R. W. RaymondFair 'nuff.
Nous restons ici.Sure! Sounds fun. =D
"Can you imagine an imaginary menagerie manager imagining managing an imaginary menagerie?"I intended to make a post earlier, but I've got a headache, so I'll post tomorrow after resting it off.
Note to self: Pick less edgy username next time.@Sonzai: Is this the same Old City abandoned mall with the huge hole in roof? Because if so, I don't know where you got those numbers, but that's not how we (those of us with characters now in the Day-Khan House) left the place. Most should be alive with injuries of varying degrees of seriousness. Only one was explicitly killed, and he was incinerated. The rest should be unconscious or otherwise disabled, but alive. Unless there's some kind of time gap and your characters are arriving a couple of hours later..?
Not entirely dead.Yes, it's the same place, and I asked about the state of the thugs, but I've gotten some conflicting answers. And it sounded like quite a few should have bled out by now since they were so brutally injured. But, I could be wrong. I suppose I could re-read all the posts from the fight scene to try to work out the exact numbers. I could certainly edit the post. Unless they were attacked or something they would do the same thing.
EDIT: I re-read the fight scene, and it looks like something around 8-10 potential kills, given that the search and rescue team is arriving somewhat later, and the injury descriptions were pretty bad. I'm assuming anyone coherent enough to walk already escaped before they got there. There might be a few more unconscious but not critical, though.

Danger: Intense gravimetric distortions nearby. Please reverse the polarity on your deflectors now.8 to 10 fatalities still sounds a little high to me... What gives you those numbers, exactly? And how much time do you supposed has passed?
Not entirely dead.I will post before I go to bed, but I'm having a hard time doing anything productive right now.
I specifically mentioned Glock-boy was still moving when last seen - but he could have bled-out in the intervening time, Gwion specifically broke the neck of one man (the one with the knife) using his baton, hammered several cans of shit out of a few others - Litterbug should just be concussed unless he was very unlucky how he fell (he was moving and moaning when Scruffy tripped over him), Scruffy was just pepper-sprayed, Baldy got his face pretty heavily beaten on, Ferret face got a broken jaw for pulling Gwion's hair and winded for trying to shoot Gwion with his own gun (Gwion didn't use lethal force because Ferret-face couldn't possibly fire the cyberpistol but "it's the thought that counts" so he kicked him...), the guy that hit Gwion in the face got "a bit of a hiding" but should basically be in the same shape as Baldy - alive but not keen to keep fighting. He then slammed another into the ground and kicked someone in the chest so that he flipped over onto his back - concussion, spinal injuries, not likely fatal.
Miyuki was largely running around smacking people in the face with a blunt object - breaking teeth, making 'em bleed and generally taking the "fight" out of 'em.
Flamist incinerated one and Ulf has only one confirmed kill according to Slysheen, the rest were roughed up a bit.
So given three deliberate kills and two who may have succumbed due to lack of medical care - Glock Boy and the leader (Ulf's last target), I don't know how you got your figure.

Indeed, took a moment to reread most of it myself. By my count, 1 guy got shot, 2 people got mauled/clawed by a werewolf, 1 guy got incinerated, and everyone else suffered varying degrees of blunt force trauma, mainly to the face and head (and also there's whatever Wolf mentioned that I didn't). Mostly concussions, broken teeth, broken noses, broken jaws and assorted other fractures to the area around the face. Occasionally, fractures or broken bones elsewhere. There were some moments of "beams of light and ice" begin fired about (Rani and Foster) but we don't even know if those hit anyone... 8-10 people bleeding out or dying of their injuries in what I'm assuming is less than an hour seems too high to me. I would suggest 3-5 at most.
Not entirely dead.I was also counting the "Several mooks cracked their heads on the wall." which was "cast to kill". Most people don't survive having their head cracked open, even with rapid medical care.
That, and many of the non-lethal attacks (especially the head injuries) easily could have caused enough internal bleeding to kill one or two more. Also see this cracked article. :P
Which sounds like a minimum of three, or a possible max of ten. (5 from Wolf1066's post above + 3 from the earthquake and 2 from severe internal bleeding.)
But, that's just my interpretation.
I have also edited my post to make the injuries less severe.
Danger: Intense gravimetric distortions nearby. Please reverse the polarity on your deflectors now.I'm pretty sure that was meant as a standard "people thrown into a wall" tell rather than "split skull".
Stoned hippie without the stoned. Or the hippie. My AO3 Page, grab a chair and relax. So should I hold off on posting for Trekesser until this gets cleared up...?
I, for one, recommend against getting into the deep details of how many nameless NPC thugs have severe brain trauma in lieu of just a concussion, and what the fatality rates among them might be.
Lets cap the dead at a maximum of 3 and move on, shall we?
Not entirely dead.
Yes, the Eye's Cream Parlor is inside the Arch Center.
