Added my character to the Space Liner. You can read about this human who's really an owl-like alien... he might be worth interacting with.

Speaking of Space Liner, I'll wait a bit longer before posting again for Gabriel. Regarding my third character... Well, he's someone who would be interested in observing others, and I'm not entirely sure how talkative he would ultimately be.

Well don't forget that it's also been your turn in the Graveyard in Dream II for quite a while... *wink wink*

@Will: Yeah, basically I figure that since astral projection involves sending one's soul to another dimension, doing so in the dream world would result in basically teleporting to another location... which is exactly what Ferisen did. Of course that's a minor spoiler, as one of the first things I was going to have Amiluet do in my next Twilight Ball post was discover that Ferisen's body isn't there either. And yeah, looks like Mr. Ship is currently another case of focusing all their attention on Space Liner that they forget about Dream II... I mean gee, at least I recently posted for Ferisen... Oh, and isn't it your turn in the Snow Castle tea room BTW?

I can barely bring myself to do much right now, as what I want most is to play Horizon Zero Dawn. Still, regarding the Graveyard, I guess I'll post for Golden Being and do the Visions after that.

Da. I'm fully aware of that. I'll get to it eventually. I will aspire to get it done ASAP. As soon as my mom is done with the computer. Woe the hassle of sharing a computer.

While in theory I could produce posts with my Wii U, as I am now, typing with a stylus (or a spoon) is a tad bit tedious. Also, this thing has a tendency of deleting unfinished posts if I wander too long. And I prefer to have my posts saved in an easy to access document for reference.

Oh, and would you kindly post for the Midnight Stitcher? It's been awhile. Fair warning, I may suddenly pull Ayako from Dream should I deem her participation in Glad™ ForceFlex™ Space Liner with Odor Blocking technology sponsored by Terry Crews— I should probably stop doing this.

Damn it, now I've lost my train of thought. Oh, right. I'll pull Ayako from Dream when I feel it is time for her to wake up in Space Liner.

Alright, I made an introductory post in Space Liner. Took me longer than I though (it actually took me nearly the entire day). I will now procceed to properly edit the Space Liner page.

Also, I think the trope page needs a link to the thread. I'l sse if I can add it myself.

I know I said I would post, but I'm not feeling all that well, so I'll have to do that tomorrow (maybe).

No worries. I've got to smash my head against 8 electrostatic problems anyway.

I horribly overslept and don't feel very good, but I intend to get around to posting sometime today. Still haven't settled on a character for Space Liner, though.

Hello! I have a great idea for a roleplay-ish thread, but I am lost on how to make it. I would like some advice on what I should do, some ideas to keep it playable, and any general advice. The theme is that the SCP foundation is trying to take over the world. The order of fighting is made through random-number generator, with things like 682, the Scarlet King, and 217 being last. It will span multiple universes probably, and there will be the ability to get non-op weapons when possible, get OP weapons if they think right, for certain SC Ps, and the ability to get certain SC Ps on their side. T Here will be up to 10 people, who will have to band together, with respective positions. It will be kinda big. I am thinking three parts, or more, because of all of the SC Ps out there. They only win when every SCP and potentially doctor is down. If a character dies, they are dead, get a new character, unless they can resurrect them with an SCP or by medical means. Again, Please give advice, tell me how to make links, and how I find where I can make the thread. Sorry or the ridiculous amount of text.

This here is a Discussion thread for the Character Development Threads. If you're just looking for writing advice (be it for a roleplay or anything else), maybe try Writer's Block Daily?

If it's a roleplay, the aforementioned Looking for Players thread might be a good idea, but it's worth noting that's more of an interest check thread than a place to get advice.

I like how there seem to be distinct groups going on in the Nebula Lobby. Gabriel and the injured girl and Tigris and Minerva seem off doing their own thing, Wolf's characters were interacting with a couple of others off somewhere, there's Mari trying to flirt with a robot... I was going to avoid that area myself since there are so many characters there, but that character Daird introduced there reminded me very much of another character in the dolls' universe, so I just had to send Carlotta there. (I'll probably have her interact with Ryya and Kaswaesa in my next post, provided they don't get to her first.) And fun fact: in what I have written of Porcelain Wonderland so far, the "are you dead" question is actually the first thing Carlotta says to that character, so I figured it'd be funny to repeat it, even if it doesn't get received well.

Yes, I am referring to Sinistrina, in case you were wondering.

Damn, got ninja'd on the ship in distress concept, oh well. Maybe I'll add them later on, kinda want to wait and see how busy the hybrid Technomancer and Ulf get.

I am eventually going to be an asshat, and it will involve a future character of mine creating a gin and tonic variant that she names after a moon god. Said character will give the cocktail over to the resident alcoholic, Mari. I'd give a listing of the ingredients, but... spoilers.

The character will have to pay Nemaforte a visit, though, as she will be able to provide her with one of the necessary ingredients.

And all of this because It Amused Me.

Bugger me! That was hard to write - people kept adding posts and I had to keep adjusting what I was writing (another argument for writing off-line: you can keep an eye on the thread's progress and adjust as required).

Still, managed to acknowledge Joshua and Junko, intercept Mari and Ulf and at least notice some of the other stuff going on.

I may not post until tomorrow after all, as I desperately need to finish a library book tonight.

You can't just have Mari head up to Club Bizarre herself? Though, unless Mari knows anything about bartending, she might not be able to make the cocktail herself. And I can already imagine what one of the ingredients would be.

Or, if you have access to a word processor software like Microsoft Word or OpenOffice(which is what I use), use that to compile a post in a document before copy-pasting over to the forum. Also helps to keep a record of what you wrote for future reference, or if your internet decides to eat your post.

Mari's a decent bartender. But I was planning on having someone who's holding a grudge against her serve a drink to her. After some banter, I would have Mari have an I Drank WHAT?! moment.

That's exactly what I do - I learned my lesson after typing a lengthy post (as I am wont to do) in the reply box of a forum RPG and having the Internet browser freak out and crash, thus losing all my work and having to re-do the post.

And oh my, that drink thing sounds interesting. Nemaforte does have some poisonous herbs in her collection if said character is feeling particularly sadistic.

Also, I discovered this in Wolf's post:

And it took me a while to realize this meant Ayako rather than Carlotta, since the former also wears Elegant Gothic Lolita. (The tip-off was the lack of mention of the rotting redhead Carlotta had just stopped to talk to, which was probably a product of Wolf's post getting ninja'd.) The latter is an actual doll, but she might be easy to mistake for a fancily-dressed little girl at a distance since dolls typically don't move on their own.
