You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Does Rocky Horror Picture Show count as a scary movie?
my essay blog! Dalton LiveblogDoes Blue Velvet count?
If not, then either The Shining or The Thing.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.Definitely The Thing. First thing that scared the crap out of me, and I'm usually not fazed by Body Horror.
Was Jack Mackerel. | i rite gudI know this is a really controversial opinion that few will ever agree with, but I'd like to go with John Carpenter's The Thing.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Surprisingly, I really enjoy The Descent, despite having seen it about a billion times at this point. Also, as has been repeatedly mentioned, The Thing. I will say that, in both cases, there are jump scares. In both cases, I know EXACTLY where the jump scare occurs. In both cases, I *still* jump.
Showgirls. Absolutely frightening.
Fanfiction I hate.
Seeing the occasional reference warms my heart.
Nthing The Thing. Also, Alien.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialThat movie taught me how horrifying it is to not have anybody cumming on ya.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatAll the Evil Dead were good but for scariest its always The Exorcist!

A Nightmare On Elm Street has probably given me the most nightmares, but my favorite is Alien.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.A Nightmare On Elm Street, for sure. I got afraid to eat pizza with sausage/meatballs on it because of the one scene in one movie (I forget which). Screaming teens faces in the topping, appropriately used.
"Just because someone showers doesn't mean they don't play games. " - lolacatI would say my favorite scary movie was the first Friday The13th film.
The original Night Of The Living Dead. Very few movies have the claim to have started a whole genre.
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes Also
In honour of Scream 4 being released, I thought I'd ask.
Mine is Evil Dead II.
