This thread is to request that a locked article be unlocked. Please read the guidelines below before making a request.
- Please see Locked Pages and Permanent Redlink Club first. If an article is on the Permanent Redlink Club, it will not be unlocked, ever.
- Pages cut a while ago were automatically locked. Before asking for an unlock, make sure that the article you want to create is in the proper Namespace, has gone through YKTTW if it's a trope, and otherwise fulfills our guidelines for Creating New Pages.
- If you just want to make an edit to an article, post here
instead.
- Don't ask for new Main redirects. Those are only for old articles with lots of existing inbounds.

I'll start it off: could someone please unlock Hootie And The Blowfish so I can make a new page on it? The last page was cut for being copypasta from Wikipedia.

I'd like to request (yes, again) that Let's Play be unlocked. There's info there that is years out of date at this point, and from what I've seen all attempts to ask mods to edit/update it have been ignored.

Oh, well, it still doesn't seem like Gush is the right place. I suggested a while ago that LP's should be handled in the same way as Fanfic Recs, given a section on the article(s) for the works they are based on.

Edit: Looking at the material, it should be on Fanfic Recs. We won't cut it for now, but we also won't unlock it. Anything anyone wants to move to a proper rec format, they are welcome to do.

I'm asking for the page Main.Alice to be unlocked.
It's not a big deal, but about all disambiguation pages are in Main/, and I'd like to move the current one (which is in Series/) here.

Any chance we can get Mondegreen unlocked? If the only problem was people adding their own examples, then could that not be solved more easily by creating a Just for Fun page? (Also, most people seem to be obeying In Universe Examples Only better than they were when the page was locked.)

Any chance of https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/YMMV/TheLegendOfKorra being unlocked? With the entry under Fan Dumb on the page being added, I think that the flame war sprouting from Mako's misinterpreted leech analogy should have died down. In case if it hasn't, I think it wouldn't be that hard to maintain. I admit that I played a part in it, I genuinely thought that the whole leech thing was an insult until it was cleared up.

I don't want to create a Just for Fun page for Mondegreen — we aren't about Troper Tales, and that's all it would turn into. It's hard to make a claim that "the article hasn't been abused" when the reason for the lack of abuse is its locking.
We could give it a shot, I suppose.
As for YMMV.The Legend Of Korra, it's just getting to be too much trouble to moderate the edit wars between people with conflicting interpretations of characters. Make requests through the Edit Requests thread for now and we'll see what transpires.

Can we get an up/down response to unlocking GameBreaker.Fire Emblem please? It has been locked for at least a year and a half and could use some updating, and I feel it can be unlocked on a provisional basis. I do promise to keep an eye and do what I can to sort out any issues that may arise.

The Final Fantasy VII characters page has been locked for about a year now, I think its high time that it be unlocked.
Has the problem that caused its locking gone away in the meantime?

B) The game has been out for almost two decades. There is nothing new that needs to be added.
