This thread is to request that a locked article be unlocked. Please read the guidelines below before making a request.
- Please see Locked Pages and Permanent Redlink Club first. If an article is on the Permanent Redlink Club, it will not be unlocked, ever.
- Pages cut a while ago were automatically locked. Before asking for an unlock, make sure that the article you want to create is in the proper Namespace, has gone through YKTTW if it's a trope, and otherwise fulfills our guidelines for Creating New Pages.
- If you just want to make an edit to an article, post here instead.
- Don't ask for new Main redirects. Those are only for old articles with lots of existing inbounds.
Original post
I'll start it off: could someone please unlock Hootie And The Blowfish so I can make a new page on it? The last page was cut for being copypasta from Wikipedia.

You are required to use YKTTW for all new tropes.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Can someone unlock a Laconic page?
""I'll be back in 20XX!""Yes, though they may or may not do so. Which laconic page do you have in mind?
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. The one for Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger.
""I'll be back in 20XX!""That's a work. Are you sure? Joke laconics like that contribute to the bad quality of laconics.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'm sure.
""I'll be back in 20XX!""Would probably be easier if you'd just posted what you want to put in there.
May I ask my Lucid Dream is locked? If there's too much overlap with Dream Weaver, that'd be one thing, but I don't see why the page had to be locked.
Yes, I hate the new wiki, too. Who doesn't?1) Cut pages are automatically locked. 2) The article was cut for being a stub, without even the slightest effort put into making it a trope.
If you put it through YKTTW and it is deemed fit to launch, then it can be unlocked.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Oh, well. At least I tried.
""I'll be back in 20XX!""No, you did not try. If you want to give us a laconic so we can decide whether to edit it in, go ahead. If not...

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I missed this request. I don't know why Man Without A Body was cut again, but I don't really understand the purpose of the request. You can copy bits of it from history and/or from the Wayback Machine, but if someone wants to write up a Creator page for him, we aren't stopping you.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Does anyone know why the Debre Insonis page would be locked? I bookmarked the URL for future reference when my friend made her webcomic by that title, and it is now locked. Just a general thing?

Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenIt should be created at Webcomic.Debre Insonis, which isn't locked.

I noticed. I don't like using some spaces like that, as it makes it really hard to navigate sometimes. But, I ask again, why was it locked?
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged Mena) Autolocking functionality, to prevent people from recreating cut pages when we don't want them back.
b) Works do not go in Main/. Nor do we want new Main/ redirects, as they just invite bad wicks.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanProbably because someone made a page for it before, but it got cut for not having the three trope examples to not be classified as a stub.
Ok. I guess it was cut sometime between putting 'watch this space' and now. Off topic, but would I get Main.Debre Insonis to redirect to Webcomic.Debre Insonis? Otherwise, once you go to something like a character page, you can't go back without retyping the URL.
Note to self, add some preliminary tropes to Webcomic.Forged Men.

Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenEdit requests for a locked pages have their own thread, linked in Locked Pages. And no, we do not want more Main/ redirects.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI understand why, but if we don't have some sort of image link (like we have for film and literature), it makes navigation difficult.
Anyway, question kinda-sorta-not-really answered, I'll leave you guys alone.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenThere is a sidebar and a dropdown list at the page top. The icon topic is here
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCan Sandbox. The Fair Folk be unlocked? I'd like to put a draft there.
Let's just say and leave it at that.
I created a new page called The Better Bi, about how female bisexuals are more positively portrayed than male bisexuals, and it was almost immediately locked, while I was still working on it. Could someone unlock it? It's a legitimate trope.
