This sounds like a complaint thread, but has the potential to foster legitimate discussion. I'm going to ask the mods to keep an eye on it.
I sure hope this doesn't turn into a complaint thread...
That said, I would like to nominate Metroid Other M as the "worst" game from 2010 I've played. Now, don't take this as if I'm saying the game is bad; far from it, as far as the gameplay is concerned. It's just that, compared to some other titles released throughout that very year, it just doesn't quite hold up. The story, and its portrayal of Samus, could've been a whole lot better, too; as far as I'm concerned, its main saving grace was Anthony Higgs.

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Metroid Other M. Wasn't bad, but wasn't that good either. Every other game I played was either above average or good, so it is the worst relatively speaking.
Ninja'd!

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Well, the PC and 360 versions are better, as the 360 version gets exclusive DLC and the PC version gets some exclusive cars as well.
Anyways, mine would probably be the Exterminatus mod for Half Life 2, but while it's not "bad," per se, it was kinda disappointing how far into obscurity it seemed to fade into (and surprising as well, considering that it's based off of WH 40 K). I don't really feel like picking it back up.
Oh, and SMOD: Tactical and Redux, in a sense, but that's not really bad either. Was really sad to see those mods get gutted out by both their detractors and creators and then left to die (until Project Life for Tactical, at least).

"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific Mackerel@Rocket Dude Even the iPod/iPhone version is better.
Other M was short...but that's about it for me.
Worst game by far is..........Silent Hill Shattered Memories.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Fixing title.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyThe Polynomial. It was an indie game that was on sale for like two bucks during the Steam holiday sale and I'm still not really sure it was worth that much. It's one of those "shoot stuff up to your music" games, but I'm not sure the music actually affects anything unlike most other games of its type. It also didn't really seem like there was that much point to it beyond, well, points — if there was even that, I didn't really play it long enough to remember it that well.
I don't know, maybe I just didn't give it a chance. It definitely didn't keep my attention for very long, though.
The blind man walking off the cliff is not making a leap of faith.^Yeah, I've actually noticed a strange influx of Rhythm Games lately.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelAs far as good titles go, definitely Super Mario Galaxy 2. Donkey Kong Country Returns pulls into second by a fairly small margin.
Heck, I'm listening to this as I type this post.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! As far as awesome titles go, it's definitely a tie between Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Sonic Colors, with Kirbys Epic Yarn, Donkey Kong Country Returns and Epic Mickey not too far behind. Then again, 2010 seemed to have been a pretty good year for platformer fans.

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.2010 had a few good ones, but man, nowhere near 2009, holy crap was that a great year for games. Uncharted 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Demon's Souls, Assassin's Creed 2, Killzone 2, Modern Warfare 2(though that one soured for me pretty quick...), Dragon Age: Origins, Braid, Flower, Ratchet And Clank Future, inFamous, Red Faction Guerilla, Borderlands, Brutal Legend, Resident Evil 5, Ghostbusters, Pixel Junk Shooter, Left 4 Dead 2, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Madworld, ... 2010 honestly paled in comparison.
Yeah, 2010 was a bit of a vacuum.

Which did you think was the worst one?
For me, it was NFS: Hot Pursuit on Wii. Slow-paced racing, unrealistic crashes, no online, no Free Roam, and the "Story Mode" just consists of playing through the four game modes and then a "Boss Mode" at the end (which is really just collect more flags than your opponent)...it's much less fun than it sounds.
