If I'm making my main character a criminal, I should not make him a minority, I guess?
Social justice is hard.

Nah man. If you point out the inequalities toward minorities in the "justice system" and have that character suffer through them, you've actually got it covered.
Take that with a grain of salt though, as I am whiter than a field of mayonnaise.
Note to self: Pick less edgy username next time. They don't have the American justice system. In fact a part of the problem is that there is no justice system at all and that everyone is under control by various systems of blackmail and other underhanded methods essentially. The MC is trying to murder everyone on top. This is a lot of people.
How can you be a criminal if there's no justice system? In order to break the law, there needs to be a law to begin with.
Well that's the thing people can just kill you if they don't like you. However if you're already killing people that kind of is a big strike against you.
So less like a criminal and more like having a mark on your record?
Note to self: Pick less edgy username next time.I suppose so.
I noticed that poetry and image/video stuff is much more frequently viewed than prose on Hitrecord (I can count the views of ALL the less-popular prose stories on one hand), and then there are very few actual stories to begin with.
I'm not going to delete my stuff just because of a snag, obviously, but I'll definitely start a simultaneous wordpress account or something if it's a better direction.

I wrote a trailer for a really generic action movie. Not an idea, not a script, just a trailer.
Read my stories! While in church, I used the program to start a murder mystery about a boss sending an assassin after his employees after they eat his snickerdoodles. The survivor will be a gluttonous woman who continue eating the cookies even after the first victim dies.
That's actually kind of fun.
Nous restons ici.Submitted a story to DSF, and am now waiting with bated breath for a rejection.
I think I am going to make an outline of the thing I'm going to start, but I've just realized that I have no idea how much "stuff" should go into a novel.
nrj: You mean like The Tough Guide To Fantasyland? I'd read it.

Yeah sometimes I think about that. One of my stories is in post WW3 nuclear holocaust Russia and there's a lot of Shellshocked Veteran type characters and I worry about pushing someone.

Do books have like a proper rating on them or is it up to the bookstore/library or what have you to put them in the right section?

People who are intensely triggered by certain situation in books often go look at online reviews to see if the book contains it. I don't think you have to do anything.
I think reviewers should put content warnings in their reviews more often. I like to know how to approach a book, especially in an area like YA.

I have a... very low opinion of trigger warnings as a concept.
Please elaborate.
Personally, I'm yet to figure out the ideal usage of them (since you can't warn about everything, but sticking to the major ones like sexual assault and eating disorders can suffice) but using them doesn't do much harm.

People miss little mistakes like that. It happens. Also, you and the others may have been mentally seeing it as "Monday" instead.
Reading is weird like that. Be glad you caught it before it was published.
