Wait a second.
Instead of having J.K. Rowling vs. Stephenie Meyer, why not have something more respectable, like J.K. Rowling vs. Mary Shelley or J.K. Rowling vs. Lauren Faust? Then we could save Mary Shelley for something like Mary Shelley vs. Jane Austen.
Signatures are for lamers.I'd enjoy a Lauren Faust VS Seth Macfarlane rap battle. Lots of possible material, and both have a sizable enough Hatedom that it won't devolve into one side stomping on the other (see: Joan Of Arc vs. Miley Cyrus)

"Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy."TBH: Andrew Hussie vs Hidekazu Himaruya vs Lauren Faust seems the best to me.
I'm having to learn to pay the priceSounds like an acceptable rap battle to me. If only for the fan reaction
I'm on Youtube Reviewing Things Cause I can.Hmm...
Bella Swan/Cullen Vs Mina Harker/Murray Although that would have the hatedom disadvantage. The later could also use some League of Extraordinary Gentlemen material.
Or, if you want to go completely off the wall:
Tony Stark Vs Margaret Thatcher (Iron Man vs Iron Lady)
I would go with "Iron Man vs Iron Lady" for the title of that last one.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...I also have another idea for an animated ERB: Spongebob vs. Mickey Mouse.
I think that it would make for some interesting lyrics. Considering Mickey's large amount of media and Spongebob's Seasonal Rot.
boop I'm more active on hereCareful, Andrew has experience with rap battles.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Jack Churchill VS Simo Hayah would be fun, but then again they're very little-known...As far as I know.
And I approve of each three of the Lauren Faust battles above, especially Andrew Hussie vs Hidekazu Himaruya vs Lauren Faust (if only because I like battles with more than two fighters).
I'm still surprised with the return of vampires during these last years, we haven't got a Season Finale or similarly massive episode with a battle like Van Helsing & Buffy & Blade VS Edward Cullen With Cullen immediately destroyed and replaced by Dracula & Carmilla & Nosferatu & Mina Harker...Hell, have Alucard from Hellsing join the vampire hunters or go the "screw this I'll kill you all" way.

Look upon my R.O.U.S., ye mighty, and despair!Okay, how about Dora the Explorer vs. Carmen Sandiego? They both are from educational stuff, although they also teach different things. Plus, with both you follow the title character.
Or Bill Clinton vs. Richard Nixon? Both had scandals, and they both are on opposing parties.
One I'd also like to see is He-Man vs. Lion-O.
Signatures are for lamers.Hm. How about Carmen Sandiego vs. Waldo instead?
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...This so needs to happen.
Look upon my R.O.U.S., ye mighty, and despair! There are two things that might be a problem.
1) The gender differs, and there's not really a justifiable reason to put them against the other gender-wise. Remember, Adam and Eve represent man and woman respectively. If the difference between genders isn't important enough, it's not worth it.
2) The premise for both series doesn't match. In Where's Waldo the goal is to find Waldo. That's not the case with the Carmen Sandiego series. The goal there is to teach you something.
Signatures are for lamers. They've been paired a lot before.
Do you think that maybe we could have two people of different genders rap against each other without it being about gender? Is that possible in the 21st century?
I say if they do Carmen vs. Waldo, it should start with ten seconds of neither of them being present.
Fresh-eyed movie blogRight, I totally forgot that it's physically impossible to have two different-gendered opponents have a rap battle without it being solely about gender.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I'll need your help to find the matching premise in Genghis Khan VS Easter Bunny.
Look upon my R.O.U.S., ye mighty, and despair!Fur coat, Easter(n), pillaging vs., well, pillaging. I mean, whose Easter Eggs are they anyway?
Seriously, it's not hard.
It's not hard.

Signatures are for lamers.Waldo and Carmen are both well known for being hard to find, and are childhood icons. Pretty easy justification thar. And it'd be nice if ERB wasn't so dude-centric.
Read my stories! It probably doesn't help that history itself is also pretty dude-centric. Then again, given that ERB has also been using both modern-day famous people and fictional people, they don't have as much of an excuse.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...History as written is dude-centric, but there are a LOT of historical women who did important and amazing things...they just don't get mentioned much
Read my stories!@Gary: Nope, it's not hard, but it's a stretch. Waldo VS Carmen Santiago (Hell, even Paul the Octopus VS Cthulhu) have premises that are much easier to match than these two.
EDIT: Paul the Octopus VS Cthulhu would make an awesome April's Fool, btw.

Look upon my R.O.U.S., ye mighty, and despair!I think ERB is dude-centric not so much because history is, but because ERB is written by a couple of guys who take most of the roles for themselves.
Did this season have any female raps?
Fresh-eyed movie blogThat was Miley Cyrus vs. Joan of Arc.
Also, good point.

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...If they want to Cross the Line Twice, they could do a lot with Lady D
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothes
That article forgot to mention that Kelly's supposed words when the judge sentenced him to death were ""I will see you there when I go."
The judge died a week later. Proving that Ned Kelly was, among other things, a Dark Wizard.
We did discuss earlier in the thread how Andrew Hussie vs Hidekazu Himaruya should be a thing.
With a bonus/ third verse rap being Lauren Faust
