I don't really ship much... But I guess I have a few.

In Downton Abbey, I always wanted Lavinia to stay with Matthew rather than Mary. All the stuff about how she was too 'small' and Mary and him were meant to be together just made me sad.

In The Legend Of Korra, I don't like Mako/Korra much - if only because he was unpleasant at first, and it just put me off the whole idea of it.

Ah! That reminds me of someone I think could be an exception! Goemon/grown-up!Kino Makoto for the goddamn win. He doesn't remind her of her sempai in the slightest, and because of that at first she doesn't even notice herself getting more and more interested in him, even as he blushes when she offers to share her lunch.

Anyways, my number one ship at the moment is Erza/Lucy. Granted, Lucy is the biggest center of Les Yay since Piper from Storm Hawks so you could ship her with pretty much any girl in the guild. Still, the way that Lucy fangirls over Erza and the way Erza acts so embarrassed when something happens around Lucy makes me want to just... Throw them at eachother.

Bah, the Jigen path is easy. Demonstrate the possession of a good head on your shoulders, refuse to rat the gang out when your life's on the line, acquire the in-game plot device of an immortality serum so you don't fall prey to his Cartwright Curse, boom, done. I've never gotten why people consider him a misogynist; a man distrusting and scorning Fujiko is a man with his goddamned priorities sorted out.

I normally couldn't care less about tv couples, with the exception of a few on the shows I grew up on, but I personally think Eli/Tristan on Degrassi would make an awesome gay couple.

Yuri? How about Wonder Woman/Sita? Such a devoted and delicate lady deserves a real prince (in the Utena sense), not some otherwise-great-guy with such a fucking disrespect for women.

Alternatively, for those who prefer het, Hanuman/Sita just to court flames, and Ram/Wonder Woman, post-character development brought about by him realizing how stupid he'd been after his wife's death (ack, spoilers! Sorry). There was a Hindu cosmology crossover with Wonder Woman one time where she had way more chemistry with her ultimate-archer guest star than with all of her canonical love interests combined.

There will always be Nanoha.

More anime shows need to get into the Cipher Scything business. Soooo many shows could be improved by removing the one boring male lead and just letting all the female characters fall in love with eachother.

I always joked how The Reveal that one of DC's signature heroes would be gay couldn't have been Wondy because that wouldn't have been revealing anything... Whenever I think of her in sapphic relationships though, she's always giving advice to Supergirl and Batgirl or something and never gets paired off herself. It's like nobody's worthy of her XD

Wonder Woman, perhaps a bigger source of DC yuri than Harley and Ivy.

Oh, and there's also practically all of Bodacious Space Pirates.

Koihime Musou seems to be the only one with its' head screwed on right in that regard. The season finale for the first series even mocked the idea of introducing a male lead. And the male character they did add later was Hotblooded and Awesome.

And Oh there's plenty of gals Wonder Woman could date outside her universe. And with all the super-science and mega-magic going on its' not like she's particularly bound to that one. Still can't really think of any solid choices within her own canon outside Mentor Ship. But dammit, I'm no DC expert so there's gotta be a few kickin' around somewhere! Somebody help me with this! Somebody else kidnap Gail Simone to write the story!

I need to finish that series. It is Made Of Win.
