Ooooooo good WMG!
That's certainly more interesting than what we got. And I think if the movie had been done in any way similar to that, I would like Merida more.
Establishing the mothers past would have been a great use of parrallels that the movie had, but didn't use (like the be careful what you wish for plot). If they had developed those more, the movie could have been more interesting.
PIXAR YOU MAGNIFICENT BASTARDS!
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatIt's a camper, is it an anachronism joke or is it a call to another movie?
It's the Pizza Planet truck. You can see the rocket ship on top.
Oh Pixar, you devil! And I forgot to even look for those things.
And if I claim to be a wise man, well, it surely means that I don't know.I don't see anything.

Oh, I didn't see the rocket, I just thought it was part of her hands in the first picture. Wow, that was a cool insert.
EDIT: Is the carving Sully? I can't see it well.

^^^I'm supposed to see Ralph, right? Clever.
http://www.longcriercat.deviantart.com I'm thirsty. Got any ink? Resident Pen Ward antagonist.Oh! I get it now.
It's supposed to be Sulley...
Of course, unless somebody else can find another Monsters Inc. reference or Pixar decided to advertise for Disney's Animation.
Just saw it and...it was really good! [[spoilers: I'll link a written review later, but for now, i'll say it was a lot of fun, had good characters, and good emotional moments. but, i do think some bits feel rewrote and soem bits stop it from being an A+ movie. but as it is, i give it a solid A]]
So it is Sulley, and not Ralf?

Ralph, not Ralf (I'm hoping it's Ralph)
Please tell me you know that Wreck It Ralph is done by Disney and that Sulley is from a Pixar film, right? Please, please!

I do, I just thought Pixar would make some references to Disney, especially since Ralph is coming out this year and Monsters University is coming out next year. Aw well, it may be coming out next year, but it's still Pixar's next movie, so it does make sense (That's why it was my first guess back in 1115).

I can't remember a moment where Pixar included a cameo of a non-Pixar character.
So I was thinking of ways the story could have been a little more interesting, and I came up with something; what if the spell had wiped Elinor's memory?
We established in the first act that Elinor is a pretty tough lady, and a throwaway line in the One Dialogue, Two Conversations scene hints that she wasn't too crazy about the idea of being married off, either. Perhaps in her youth, she could have been a bit like Merida. With the memory of her family gone, she escapes the castle because she doesn't want to marry Fergus. Merida goes after her to bring her back. More mother/daughter conflict ensues, only with the roles reversed, and by being forced to take her mother's former point of view, she ends up being able to understand it better while she and Elinor realize they're Not So Different.
Granted, some more changes might have to be made, but I think this would have made a much more entertaining film, not to mention a good source of the banter between heroes that we usually get from Pixar movies.
Looking for some stories?
