I think it's perfectly acceptable to use Dwarf Fortress as a title generator as long as you can reasonably live up to said title. Honestly, if you really can kill a god (even a demigod) with your bare fists, you get that title, along with extra room at the table for your character's badass aura.
(Though it might be better to get a list of titles first, so that you can pick a bit more reasonable ones for less-than-godly characters).
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.

The scariest fighter-type character I've ever seen anyone do in Exalted was Twilight. Of course, that was before the errata, but I can still think of several ways to make them more broken than anybody else.
And yeah, when your God botches a roll...find a better god. Maybe yourself. I mean, this is Exalted.
