Music Mashups and Fusion Mixes (The Remake!!!)

Since I have no idea how to move forums from one area to another I decided instead to duplicate it here.

I found a couple of accounts on Youtube that do decent to great mashups of video game music, panmandan and Hauntershadow They mainly do fusions of 2D games and the Metroid Prime Trilogy. One of my favourite mixes merges Dark Samus' theme (from MP 2 with the Hell's Gate music from Co D World at War, it makes DS' theme sound a lot moodier.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8PCd8l94hQ

The soundtrack to the movie Just Go With It features nothing but mashups (well, outside of a few pieces of music by Hans Zimmer's people). Get pretty annoying after a while.

Would a song re-dubbed with voice clips from a game count?

A fellow called Neural Impulse made two album's worth of mashups involving songs from Cave Story. "Mimiga Town vs Harder Faster Better Stronger" and "Opression vs Genesis" are the best; the rest are not very good, but worth a listen for the sheer WTFery. That boy needs therapy.

A while back I made a mashup of the Fever music (as heard in SSBM) and 'Lady Madonna', though it's not currently on You Tube. I'll maybe upload it later or tomorrow.

Not mine, obviously, but add DMX to The Idolmaster equals Hilarity Ensues.

Some time ago I did this - I kind of want to see if I can't make or find a good "Immigrant Song" instrumental so I can do a version that includes more "Azz Everywhere".

I feel like "Intergalactic" would mesh well with "I Can't Wait" by Nu Shooz, so maybe I'll go do that sometime.
