Akira. And the Social Network because hey, Trent Reznor.
See how I'm not dumping on Trent?
I've matured.
Anyways, Trigun and Repo The Genetic Opera.
The 5 geek social fallacies. Know them well.Haven't seen repo but isn't Richard "Filter" Patrick on it? In which case it automatically gets my vote.

Seconding Repo.
"It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt." - Some guy with a snazzy hat.It has Nivek Ogre, of course it's good.
The 5 geek social fallacies. Know them well.Just heard the score to Tower Heist. It has a nice Lalo Schifrin-type feel to it (managing to combine a 1970's sound with a modern day sound).
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/I'm currently hooked on the scores of How To Train Your Dragon and Kung Fu Panda 2. Especially Dragon. John Powell really needs more recognition.

Looking for some stories? The Into The Wild Soundtrack is an incredible album even on its own, but in the context of the movie and Chris Mc Candless's journey it just shines like a diamond.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.I have the soundtrack to that film and I was surprised to find out that Eddie Vedder didn't score the film, but only did the songs (the score was composed by Michael Brook, who also did some of the Heat score).
Another one: the Richard Gere film Bloodbrothers might be obscure but it's got a kick-ass theme by Elmer Bernstein.
Why were you surprised to learn that? You do know Eddie Vedder is Pearl Jam's singer, right? Wouldn't really expect a rock musician to be able to score a movie...
Jonny Greenwood scored There Will Be Blood and We Need To Talk About Kevin. And Danny Elfman has done very well for himself as a composer.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/Purple Rain, duh.
And a million fanfics were written...I'm really liking the Kung Fu Panda soundtrack. And the Thor soundtrack.
Anything with music by Two Steps from Hell.
I'm really liking the score to Thief by Tangerine Dream and Craig Safan.

More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/For me, that honor belongs to Chicken Run. Just awesome. If you haven't heard that iconic-in-its-own-right theme tune yet, here it is;
The District 9 soundtrack was very good, Clinton Shorter. But I really like this one in combination of the scene it's really moving.
Hi
I agree with TRON: Legacy. Not the best of Daft Punk, but damn those are some sweet synth beats.
