Untitled Power Rangers StoryI think I'd like a series of unconnected stories set in the Blade Runner universe. But the problem with prequels is that everyone knows each other before they know each other.
Hadn't they initially planned for sequels? Bladerunner sequels could work, but Ridley Scott and whoever the scriptwriter was would have to be involved in this and without the usual executive meddling either. Yeah, I think I can be somewhat optimistic about this.
David Peoples wrote a sequel that was rewritten into Soldier.

That is all.
You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans.I posted the clip first, but I can't seem to get You Tube vids to load right now.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great...also all of them sucked.
Don't you try anything, you baked good you.The author was the inspiration for Kevin? Uh...
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Well these won't suck and be completely pointless.
The effort wasted to make these would be much better used for a remake that's closer to the book, although I suppose that would be impossible considering Hollywood's track record with The Film of the Book trope.
A Scanner Darkly was pretty good...exception to the rule or what have you, but it's proof that it can be done.

So, I guess Deckard can't be in the prequel, seeing as he hadn't been created and had his memories implanted yet.
It's funny how I've never gotten the impression that he's a replicant when watching the movie. Even knowing that it's Word of God, I dunno, I just never got that...I think it's one of those things better left up to interpretation anyway though...
The prequel could focus on Roy Batty, and allow Sean Bean to attempt filling Rutger Hauer's shoes again...

Would moving the setting off planet be too big of a jump? I mean, in universe there's people living up there, but would it take it too far from the spirit of the origonal?
Well, what if someone in the audience wanted to see what Roy saw in his lifetime? Or if they explored the "good life" in the off-world colonies.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great...That is actually a pretty awesome idea, as I will watch anything with Sean Bean. Also, Ridley Scott only started treating Deckard as being a replicant after he went back to the film in the subsequent cuts/re-releases, and it totally undermines the point of the story if he is. Someone wrote a great article on why that is, but I can't remember who...

I'll turn your neocortex into a flowerpot! If Scott is on it, I'll be worried most about executive meddling and how exactly a prequel could work because the original works pretty well as a beginning.
What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war. They could have Hauer appear at one of the people who creates the replicants (kind of like Lance Henriksen appearing in Alien 3 as Bishop's creator).

Not sure if there was already a thread about it, but apparently its happening. I'm willing to go with Ruined FOREVER as my opinion, but think better of it.
