Wasn't it being popular once before Bizzare got bought by Activision?
Give me cute or give me...something?I paid them lip service in another thread, but Voodoo Vince and Stubbs the Zombie. Both were unique takes on the players standard interactions with others, and deserved more attention.
Another underrated vidya-gaem thread? yaw-
oh yes. The New Orlean theme the game has is fantastic.
moving from individuals game, the 3DO console. Had a decent library of good games and revolutionized the game-making process, yet all people remember is it being overpriced and only having FMV games (which is bullshit).
Gotcha Force...
What did you expect me to say?
"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior ValI saw someone playing what I thought was Custom Robo, on the DS. Looked good, but I don't own a DS.
Was PGR ever popular? I've never seen it advertised anywhere, or talked about in anything. I love the Kudos system, you have to strike a balance between speed and style, not to mention cars vs. bikes.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.I saw a PGR 3 tournament being played on some gaming HD channel back in high school. It didn't strike me as very interesting, but that's mostly because the tournament ruled that everyone could only drive the Lamborghini Gallardo and drive in, I dunno, Paris or somewhere, so it was literally 32 matches of four Gallardos driving around Paris. Over and over and over. I realize that's a pretty poor representation of the game, but really, if that was how they advertised it...
The blind man walking off the cliff is not making a leap of faith.^Well, the Gallardo is pretty badass, but come on, you gotta have variety.
But yeah, not a good first impression.
Anyways, as for my opinion: I think Fatal Racing should have been more notable considering that it kinda shows that you don't need guns to have a Vehicular Combat game.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelRocket Jockey, Star Control II, and Outcast come to mind.
I can probably think of even more, given enough time. This sort of thing is what I tend to specialize in.
I saw Gotcha Force at my Gamestop, but bought Skies of Arcadia instead. thinking of going back to get it. >: D
The Protomen enhanced my life.I was hoping this would be about underrated developers and people within the industry. Jonah Falcon, for instance.

"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior ValRondo Of Swords...It's basically Saber if she were an actual dude...with Izuna and Shino as Crossover guest stars.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."
AKA The best games nobody's heard of/are unpopular.
I'm unsure about the popularity, but what about Project Gotham Racing?
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.
