Or have Eggman Nega fight Sonic, the game would be much harder as a result.
Humanity wants equality yet supremacy stands in the way. Destroy that and we can embrace equality.Hm. I never considered the idea of Fang being bumbling or even remotely goofy. Nice attention to detail(I never played Triple Trouble, or any games Fang appeared in, so i would never have gotten that impression).
But yeah, being a slime would fit right into his character.
I'm not sure what Archie may or may not have done with him, but Nack/Fang always seemed to come off as pretty cartoonish from what little I've seen of him, particularly in Fighters.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI never really saw him as bumbling, to be honest.
I always just saw him as a legitimate threat that could be used as an easy antagonist.
Why is he there? Money. Easy.
Archie hasn't done too much with him, really. Last time he appeared that I know of, he was less a point of the story and more of a backdrop for the drama going on at the time. Because, you know, what good story doesn't have a love triangle? e__e
More or less, he's just unused but not forgotten.

Everyone was cartoonish in Fighters.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Except Metal Sonic, he was a cheating bastard and the one obstacle be becoming Super Sonic.
Humanity wants equality yet supremacy stands in the way. Destroy that and we can embrace equality. The last thing Fang did in the comic was waste a perfectly good Cat Fight, and even then he wasn't alone in that. Amy,,Cream, Shadow, Omega, Jet, Wave, Storm, Bean, and Bark also wasted that potential Cat Fight.

I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DAnd yet Blaze nor Big was in it...
On a serious note, ouch. Why were men in that one, though?
The participants should have just been Blaze and Rouge
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DBut why not Amy, Cream, and Wave too? They're all female. That's all you need for a good Cat Fight.
...Also, why would Blaze and Rouge fight? I could see Blaze and Amy over Sonic at best... but Rouge has no interest in Sonic. Only Knuckles and Shadow.(she does sometimes flirt with Tails, though)
Okay. Those three and Shade too.
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DDeal.
I really should actually remake the Zelda Classic game into "Legend of Sonic" like I planned to. Not sure if it would work out well, since I can't do the second half of the game or anything but basic gameplay.(I had an idea for an added RPG part where you had some turn-based battles and a Fighting Mode as multiplayer that had to be unlocked, but the regular gameplay is totally possible)
...
Are we still talking about the kidnapping thing?
Last story I read with Nack was the one where he kidnapped Sally and it acted as a backdrop to air out the love triangle bullshit between Sonic, Mina and Sally.
I mean, its entirely possible I've missed something given its been over a year since I've picked up an issue. This is the problem of allowing a backlog to build up...
In Triple Trouble Fang had very goofy animations, much remisant to Knuckles in Sonic 3, laughing evilly, setting off traps that didn't always work right and tripping over in each of his epic getaways (even in the TRY AGAIN screen he falls and drops all the emeralds).
I think Archie got him down well, he is somewhat menacing and every now and then he pulls off a Not So Harmless moment, but at the end of it all he's an arrogant small time crook and usually ends each of his appearances in comedic humilation. This quote pretty much sums up his position best:
- Fang: *while running from Amy frantically* I took out Sonic the Hedgehog! Twice! Why do you broads keep giving me trouble?!?
- Amy: Oh shut up! Sally didn't hurt you that hard!
@Super Gex: There are apparently a lot of overaged Thomas fans insisting it's Ruined Forever. In fact they probably predeeded the Sonic fan wanking due to fans of The Railway Series.

OK. So we can agree that he's dangerous, but not Big Bad dangerous.
Like a small time Eggman, capable of being a threat, but still a goofball who makes a fool of himself a lot.
I can accept that.
Still should be used more.
I agree. I'd actually like to see some other lesser villains rather than trying to up themselves with super demonic monsters each game.
I was really quite surprised after playing Tripple Trouble when I had the Gamegear not to see him as a reaccurring enemy. Although not doing much over all, he was an amusing character annd made the somewhat bland game more enjoyable whenever he showed up. Did he ever make a cameo in Generations?
He made a very out-of-the-way cameo on those "Missing" posters in City Escape.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Well he only appeared in the special stages for Triple Trouble, which weren't immensely easy to access in that game (find an Emerald box, but only with 50 rings in tow).
I think it was 'WANTED' ad actually. Mighty and Ray got MISSING signs while Fang, Bean and Bark got WANTED signs (a nice little reference to their Archie villain roles).

More lesser villains eh?
How about we develop the Babylons back into villains. Embitter them.
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DNah, just make another feel-good whirlwind of adventure with awesome rock music and a sappy love song somewhere.
I like sappy love songs :3
And a Dubstep track to counteract the sappy love song.
...We have a good fanbase(sometimes). But yeah, that's a flame war brewing if we continue this conversation.
I do want Nack/Fang to return. I'd like to see Metal Sonic come back, perhaps trying to get back against Eggman, even as a temporary Hero(via reprogramming by Team Dark) and possibly going villain during it. He has a strong will, even for a robot.
