Close, we've got the Elder Gods, but most people Die for good. Unless you're somewhat important and a strong fighter, then someone probably Ressurects you. I've gone through that Twice I believe, last I checked.

The Elder Gods just sit around and don't intervene, they only do so indirectly and to preserve balance and not have realms merge. Because that's bad.
