Ray's room, past

Ray woke up, her neck hurting, as she looked around and realized that she had fallen asleep against the door..but for some reason was in the bed now. She looked at her bedside, and saw an open gift box, lying there. She opened it, and promptly had to suppress tears, as the gift was a wooden carved statuette of her in a purple dress, and Marie in a suit, standing arm in arm. The card under it read "Decided I'd try some of your techniques, and make something myself, so sorry if it looks messy. Have a happy b-day, Ray, I love you, more than I think I show."

Ray clamped her hand to her mouth, and gently hugged the statuette, before carefully placing it on the desk, and started getting ready.

Ray knocks on Bel's door.

(A sing-song voice sounds in response.)

Belinda: Come iiiiiin~

-Champloo rushes into the room.-

Champloo: <I baked you a pie!>

Dune: Oh boy, what flavor?

Champloo: <Pie flavor.>

-With a sigh he wraps an arm around the puff ball's shoulder region for a side hug-

-Uta turns the side hug into a full hug, still sniffling a little.-

Uta:<Peoplemons shouldnt be without friends...I'll be your friend, Mondo...OK?>

Ray walks in hesitantly."Umm..hi Bel. I..I wanted to tell you something." She takes a deep breath, and shaking a bit, said "Y-yesterday, at midnight..I had a birthday party, in Locke's room..Marie didn't show up, so I was sad, the wine magnified that..so I was in the bedroom, Jason came in to cheer me up..and..and.." she was really shaking now, I kissed him."

She kneeled on the floor, tears pouring."And I know that was a horrible thing to do, especially to someone as nice as you, and I'm so, so, so sorry, I'm an absolutely awful person that drove her girlfriend away too...I just..don't blame Jason for this, none of this was his fault. It's all on me, he was just trying to be nice...and look what I did in return.I'm just..I just.." she couldn't say anymore, as she was choking up.

-Uta keeps hugging, the sniffles subsiding.-

Uta:<...so soft....>

-And nuzzles.-

(She stands there for several minutes, unsure of the correct course of action to take in such a scenario.)

"Well, that sure makes things easier" said Sakura, sweatdropping "I guess I won't be able to do anything here then." she sighed.

"True, a hero makes a difference and people's lives with the intent of making them better. But a hero is also someone who's willing to put themselves through risk for the sake of someone they might not know. You acted more like a vigilante, believing yourself to be doing the "right" thing, justice by your own hands. Lucius had his moments like that as well and both of you seemed to regret it after the deeds were done. I guess part of the reason you two were so close is that you two kinda share a similar mindset."

Pakhet: <She was actually quite far from the title, one would think. Since she's not a direct descendant of Ibrahiem to begin with, she's the youngest child and a girl.>

Montu: <Basically, this whole kit and kaboodle was in the name of her Granduncle's grandson.>

Pakhet: <A firespat by the name of Muhammad.>

Montu: <You see, Muhammad - while he has the al-Gala traits of being shrewed, hardlined business people - is an Arceusdamned megalomaniac >

Pakhet: <Basically, Muhammad's M.O for his idea of the future business was to turn it into a self congratulatory circlejerk praising how great he was.>

Montu: <Granduncle Ibrahiem wouldn't let that fly. He's a man of business, and he's not going to let years of scrupulous hard work be sullied by one bad seed. So he changed the heritage to make it that his personal favourite, Cleo here, would be his eventual sucessor>

Pakhet: <Ibrahiem also had a much stronger relationship with his niece Miriam and her family than he did with his own son Bashir. Which played a part in it.>

Montu: <Needless to say, Muhammad wasn't all to thrilled to be duped by his spitfire little cousin>

Pakhet: <So he had a meltdown and ran off somewhere.>

Montu: <Teal Deer. Cousin was a jackass, displeased his grandfather, got replaced and baaawwww'd>

Pakhet: <He's probably plotting his revenge somewhere.>

Ray look at her, and sighed for a bit."It's a bit too much to process, I know..I'm.I'm sorry for taking up your time like this. It all boils down to me making a mistake, a big, awful, mistake, and I'm so, really, sorry for that..I don't expect you to forgive me, but..please don't blame Jason for it." She doesn't look bitter at the moment..just tired.

She gets up, and makes for the door.

Belinda: Nononono, stop right there! I don't blame you at all, and I don't want you to head out there thinking I do!

"But I don't get it. Why allow Sarah to suffer those nightmares? It's not going to cause her or any of you guys any good, will it?"

"It doesn't, but you shouldn't be too harsh on yourself. Life keeps going and being stuck in the past will not let you progress and make up for your mistakes."

Justice then looks towards the path Sarah was following

"In any case... You were heading there? That's where the strongest aspect in this mindscape resides."

F!Eskay: Unfortunately, Elda is... generally in denial. He doesn't want to believe that what he's doing is wrong, among other things.

"But that doesn't make any sense!" said Sakura, looking quite frustrated "What do you guys have to win with how things are going on? If anything this place is just going to become more unstable as time goes on!"

"You sure you want to climb those stairs?"

Sarah might notice that there really is a lot of stairs, like, really long. Though for one thing it was an entirely vertical staircase.
