-Straw is making his way through the ridiculously tall grass-

Caliburn:-slashing through the grass with Aurora on his back- <I feel like a jungle explorer.>

Yeah, this grass is pretty tall.

Mistralton City

-Kirk is dazed by the Psychic, but remains on his feet, only taken down to about 2/3 health thanks to his Steel-type resistances.-

Kirk: <Gah... is that all you've got?>

Herbert: Kirk, use Calm Mind, then Stone Edge!

Kirk: <What?>

Herbert: Just do it, trust me!

-Kirk sighs, then clears his mind in order to increase his mental defenses before sending a hail of rocks flying at the Sigilyph.-

Herbert: You know, I don't like it when you get that look in your eye, Diane. It usually means I'm about to get hurt somehow.

-It uses Psychic again-

Diane: -Eye glint- You just gave me an idea~ Skyla, we're taking Herbert with us.

Jacob: "....Fine. And Diane, please don't break the Herbert. We only have one, and he's very hard to fix."

Celestial Tower

-After navigating the grass, Straw and co. finally enter the tower. Straw looks at the staircase-

...I forgot about the stairs.

Envy:<I warned you about stairs, bro.>

Aurora:<If only there was a way to climb the stairs using the bottom.>

Well, we're not gonna get there any faster by standing here.

-Straw starts climbing the stairs-

-Kirk is buffeted by the Psychic again, though he takes less damage this time.-

Herbert: Now, Kirk, Calm Mind again!

Kirk: <Are you mad? This isn't doing anything!>

Herbert: Just trust me!

-Kirk sighs, before attempting to clear his mind once again.-

Herbert: And now, Kirk, use Shadow Ball! Finish it off!

Kirk: <Ah, I see now!>

-With the power bonus provided by the Calm Mind, Kirk fires off another glowing sphere at the Sigilyph, this one pulsing a dark purple.-

-Herbert steps back slightly upon seeing the glint in Diane's eyes.-

Herbert: ...This is going to involve me getting hurt very, very badly, right?

And so great as he is, already!

Mistralton Gym

Carol: -walks over to Diane and Skye- What's this about Herby getting hurt?

Mistralton Gym

-Sigilyph is hit, and hangs in just barely. It uses Psychic one last time-

Diane: Don't worry, I won't hurt him. I'll almost hurt him, but I won't hurt him~

Skye: Oh Ho-oh someone needs to stop her.

NEVER!

Jacob: "....Herbert, you're not afriad of heights, are you?"

Mistralton Gym

-Kirk is brought down to his knees by the third Psychic, but through a combination of Sp. Def bonuses and simple gutso, he remains conscious.-

Herbert: Shadow Ball, one last time! We can still do this!

Kirk: <Right... I'm not losing here...>

-Kirk fires one last purple sphere, this one weaker than the last due to his drained state but still formidable.-

Herbert: ...No, I'm not afraid of heights. But why do I get the feeling that I will be soon enough?

-The glow fades, and an Excadrill is in Rotor's place-

Excadrill!Rotor: -Checking out his new form- <Awesome!>

Anguis: <So Rotor's evolved, what now?>

-Looking over at the Celestial Tower-

Let's try over there.

Mistralton Gym

Jacob: "Because you're very good at figuring out the obvious?"

Mistralton Gym

-Lanie exits the building.-

Mistralton, near plane

-Zeal's eyes are green again, and he's still on top of a plane.-

Pilot: We are taking off soon. Please get off of the plane, sir.

Zeal: -sighs- Why?

Pilot: You really are an idiot... sir.

Mistralton Gym

Carol: Wait...wha...huh?

What is the deal with Diane?

Celestial Tower

-Straw reaches the top-

...Finally...

Aurora:-hops of Caliburn- <This is pretty high up. I bet you and Crewe would have gone on a date here.>

Yes, because a date to a tower full of graves is totally a good idea.

Envy:<So...are we gonna ring the bell?>

Silence:-gazes off the edge- ...

Helryx:<Ringing the bell...FOR SCIENCE!>

-Helryx rings the bell. It chimes a few times. The mons become calm, calmer than before-

Well, that was pleasant.

-A sound similar to a tornado passing through is heard-

Caliburn:<Tornado?>

-A Sigilyph flies out of the bell area-

Helryx:<Sigilyph out of nowhere?>

-The Sigilyph is followed by several Ghost-mons, from Gastly and Haunter to Shuppet and Duskull. A Golurk shoots out of the area, knocking Helryx down-

...Okay, something's not right here.

Silence:-has ghosts flying about around him- ...

-Straw puts the special goggles on. He sees the rift-

...Well, that explains— AAAAH!

-A Xatu flies out, slamming into Straw, who lands on Caliburn-

Xatu:-flies about, then perches on the bell, staring off in the distance.

Envy:<...Okay, that bird is creeping me out.>

Mistralton Gym

-Diane covers Jacob and Joseph's mouths to shut them up-

Diane: Don't worry, don't worry. I just want to take you somewhere. It's not the safest place, but you won't get hurt. I promise.

-Sigilyph faints to the last Shadow Ball.-

Skyla: ...Well, congratulations! You've won! Here's the usual badge and TM.

-She gives them to Herbert-

Skyla: Aaaaand... come with us~!

-She drags Herbert off in a direction. Diane pulls Skye along in the same direction.-

-We are now in front of the Celestial Tower-

Pica: <This place reminds me of that tower in Lavender. I hope the ghosts don't steal your Silph Scope again.

Azumarill: <What's a Silph Sc-Notices the large amount of mons coming out of nowhere-Oh no.>

Another rift...Okay, boys and girls, let's get to work.

-And we enter the tower-

Carol: Congrats, Herby, you did an awesome—hey wait where are we going? -follows Diane and Skye, a puzzled and slightly worried expression on her face-
