- That universe's DS, Dawn, Lucas and Barry have successfully managed to calm down a giant Gastrodon that was roaming the streets of Sunyshore -

That universe's Professor Rowan: Good job, it seems to have calmed down.

That universe's Dawn: The poor thing was just frigthened. (pets the giant Gastrodon) Don't worry, it's okay now. (notices that she got some slime on her hand from petting it) Ew. (tries to wipe it off)

That universe's Barry: So, we managed to calm this thing down so it wouldn't break stuff, that's nice and all, but now what?

That universe's Professor Rowan: I've already asked a team of scientists to come over here, and take a look at this one to see if they can determine what made these sea Pokemon grow so big.

That universe's DS: And then they'll find a way to bring them back to normal size?

That universe's Professor Rowan: We hope so.

That universe's Lucas: Have you heard anything from the professors in the other regions?

That universe's Professor Rowan: Yes, and from what I've gathered, they're doing pretty much the same thing we're doing.

- Why did I feel the need to inform of you of what is going on in that last universe that is in no way related to any plot? I dunno, but hey, at least now we know they're doing something about those oversized sea creatures -

Mawile: (points at Eevee) <Send him away! He keeps making fun of me!> (looks annoyed) <How can anyone do that to someone as amazing as me?>

Eevee: (sticks out his tongue at Mawile)

Solrock: (floats over, carrying six straws that have been partially shoved into a Sitrus berry) <Let us each pick a straw to decide. One is shorter than the others, and whoever gets that one will be the one to return to PC storage.>

Eevee: <Now, hold on a moment! How is that fair? If you were the one to place those straws, then you probably know which one is which!>

Plusle: <Yeah!>

Mawile: <The annoying ones do have a point.>

Eevee: (to Mawile) <You're the annoying one!>

Mawile: (glares at Eevee)

Vulpix: <Please don't fight!>

Outside Cerulean city.

Two familar Nidorinos are sitting on the cliffside finge of Cerulean city, waiting to get reports from the scouting party sent ahead. The two Nidorinos start musing to eachother about humans and their lifestyle.

Laurel: <These structures. Things like roads, pipes, wires... they crop up where humans tend to live.>

Hazel: <I don't see how it is strange. Some creatures live in the waters, some live in the caves, we live on a hillside do we not?>

Laurel nods.

Hazel: <So the land has provided humans with a habitat. How human dwellings grow while other shrink I do not know. I would assume it has something to do with land movements>

Laurel: <Considering they can catch sunlight and put it into posts so it can glow even in the night. I wouldn't be surprised if they could ask the Earth to change to suit them...>

Off in the background, two bucks dash towards the two in oder to rally on information.

Hazel: < Speedwell! Blackberry! How has the scouting gone?>

Blackberry: <Hazel-rah. The north has provided to be too difficult for us to cross without risking going to close to the humans. The south, however, can provide us with a sufficant detour from the City.>

Speedwell: <I don't see the problem with going through the human dwelling at Inle. They sleep just like us. It shouldn't be that troublsome...>

Blackberry: <As I told you before Speedwell. Humans tend to spend odd hours awake or have Pokemon with sensative ears to wake them up. Dashing right through the city is just begging for unspeakable trouble.>

Speedwell grumbles and Hazel nods.

Hazel: <I see, but the night is nearly over and we are tired. Have the party found a decent place to rest.>

Speedwell: <A group of hedges down a bit south sir.>

Hazel: <Very well, we'll come along with you two now.>

Laurel: <And if we're lucky, Dandelion just might treasure us with a story of El-ahrairah and his journeys...>

The four Nidorinos dash southward to the group of hedges Speedwell mentioned before, just as the sky starts lighting up with the first rays of dawn.

-the town is now mostly covered in snow; Team Glacier and Pianis' team are lying in a circle in the middle of it-

Breeze: <The ground's covered in snow. I'd have thought you'd be more upset.>

-sees that the ground is, in fact, covered with snow-

HotStuff: <Need anything?>

No, I'll be fine... Just... go look for Tears or something. I'll join you once I'm feeling a little better.

AU!Wolf: -wakes up, notices that AU!DS is still sleeping, and holds her close-

Route 213, some time in the past (as if I've been paying attention to the time)

"Okay Lauren, let's start off simple. Night Slash."

"Use Aerial Ace, Domino!"

<No hard feelings, right?> Domino asks, jumping into the air before diving quickly at the Kricketune.

<Of course. Same with you?> Lauren slashes at Domino with Obscura-coated blades as he crashes into her, skidding backwards in the sand but keeping her feet. Domino circles back around and hovers across the field.

<Ow! I mean, yeah.>

"Okay Domino, do it again!"

"Hm... use Protect!"

Domino shoots towards Lauren again, wings pinned to his sides and eyes narrowed. As he approaches, Lauren erects a pale green Protect, which he crashes into. He squawks and lands heavily on his feet, then flaps his wings to get back in the air.

"Now Night Slash!"

Lauren lunges at him as he tries to get away, slashing across his wings. Domino squawks again and limps through the air back to the other side of the field again.

"Okay, new strategy... Um, what moves do you know, Domino?"

"You're kidding me, Ash," Hunter says, shaking his head. "Lauren, use Night Slash again."

"You be quiet. I mostly use him for... Flying... Use Fly, Domino!"

Domino shoots upwards and circles a few times, building speed. Lauren waits below, her blades once again cloaked in Obscura. After a brief period of time, Domino folds his wings and rockets down towards the Kricketune.

"Hold your spot, Lauren..." Hunter calls to the Kricketune. She lets out a nervous buzz, but holds her ground, blades raised. Domino gets closer by the second, letting out a loud cry.

"MOVE!"

The Kricketune leaps to the side, slashing out with her blades as she does so. Domino plows face first into the sand, and Lauren's critical hit strength attack slams him further into the ground. She takes a step back, blades at the ready again. When Domino doesn't move for a few seconds, she pokes him. When he doesn't reply, she deftly flips him over, to see that the Fearow is unconscious.

<Oh dear... Uh, good game, Domino...> she says nervously.

"... Return. Clockwise?"

<Yes? Are we gonna fly now? Can we fly somewhere cool? Like, the bottom of the ocean?>

<... You're lucky James is unconscious, kid,> Six mutters, crossing his blades.

"Clockwise. Go battle." Ashley points to the field, where Lauren waves a blade.

<What's a battle?> Clockwise asks as he hops forward.

<Just do what Ashley tells you. Attack the Kricketune.> Six points at Lauren, who helpfully waves again.

Pastoria

-Every has thoroughly searched the Move Relearner's house, not finding a Tear, and returns to the tents-

Crush: <Find anything yet, Silvermist?>

Silvermist: (swimming around in the spring/lake) <Not yet, but I'll let you know if I do!>

- HotStuff and Sparq decide to check some trees, HotStuff deciding not to go too far away from wherever I am while she searches -

- The rest of my Pokemon continue searching around in the grass and so on -

Herbert: I just wish they sold hot dogs. I'm craving hot dogs.

Umbra: -approached Wolf and DS's Pokemon- They're definitely a nice bunch.
