Rex: Oh, sure. Ichtacya is still sleeping right now. She seems to be taking the opportunity to rest, at the moment. Poor thing... By the way, Shahinne keeps putting emphasis on different words. Is that something she picked up from you?

Shahinne: *wants to eat a Burmy now* <It sounds yummy~>

May: *lets her Tailow, Torchic, and Aron out to stretch their legs*

Felix: *does the same with Rex's Pokemon, only to recall most of them because they are still asleep* Heh...oops.

Smirks.

"Oh... the emphasis thing... It's something that I started doing some time ago to make my [life story] more readable. Seems to work."

Takes mental notice of Ichtacya and Shahinne's status.

"So, what way would you prefer? Me taking a trip to Mikan and then coming back to return Laplace, or us going there together?"

Rex: Neat~ We can leave together. I'd just be bored here by myself. And watching your Gym Challenge might be enlightening~

Rascal: *wanders in, having overheard everyone*

Ichtacya: *follows Rascal, yawning lightly*

Uh, it's a long story. I'm not normally female. I just got turned female for a while. Now I'm male again.

Roxanne: Hmm...why do I feel like I'm about to get a string of challengers?

- Has headed over to the gym, and is now fighting the gym trainers. Tulip and Odette manage to quickly defeat the gym trainers' Geodudes -

Mikan Island

After a couple of hours of relaxed travel, Silent arrives with Rex and their mons to the island and head off to the Gym.

-Is pretty much just following DS as she battles the Gym trainers-

-Is wandering around a Rustboro park-

So what do I want to do while we're in Hoenn...

- Has managed to defeat the trainers, with Odette learning Water Pulse in the process -

- Goes up to face Roxanne -

Roxanne: Oh, it seems my intuition was right. Welcome, trainer. I am Roxanne of the Rustboro Gym. I would give you the whole Gym Leader speech, but I feel as though there are other challengers waiting. So, let's get down to it, shall we? *sends out Geodude*

Geodude: Dude.

"So she's finally at the Gym Leader huh?"

- Nods -

Yeah, let's do this. Go, Odette!

- Tosses Odette's dream ball, releasing the Ducklett in a puff of pink smoke -

Odette: <Quack!>

Odette, use Water Pulse!

Odette: (fires a Water Pulse sphere at the Geodude from her beak)

Mikan Gym

Silent knocks on the door.

Assistant: "Hello...." looks at Silent, "Oh, it's you! The 'I-don't-have-a-water-mon' guy!"

"Õ_õ"

"...I take it you are here for a rematch?"

"Yes, please."

"...Do you even have a water type Pokémon yet?"

"Yeah, I brought one with me."

"...One. Wow, must have been quite an accomplishment!" She produces a notebook to sign Silent up, but stops this [ ] short of actually typing. "Hey, I hope that Water Pokémon is ridable for Surf..."

"..."

Leans in.

"...Oh? Did we forgot to tell you last time? *trollface.jpg*"

"Yeah, you forgot."

"Oh my!"

"Don't worry though, I found out from other sources." — shows up Laplace's Pokéball.

"Oh, I see..." puts up an angry face momentarily. "Oh well then, come in."

Roxanne: Geodude, Rock Throw!

Geodude: Dude~ *tosses some rocks into the water, using them to soak up the excess and protect itself*

Roxanne: Now use Defense Curl and Rollout!

Geodude: DUDE! *balls up and rolls towards Odette*

Odette: <Quack!> (tries running from Geodude, flapping her wings while running)

Hmm... Odette, Water Gun!

Odette: (turns her head and tries to hit the Geodude with a stream of water from her beak, also soaking the floor behind her in the process)

Hmm, the old Defense Curl + Rollout combo.

Helios: <Good thing that I'm fast enough to dodge those.>

Mikan Gym

Rex: *raises an eyebrow at the trollface, but says nothing*

Rustboro Gym

Geodude: Dude! *is soaked by the water, rolling off course and ramming into a near boulder; uncurls and shakes himself off, turning to go for Odette again*
