<Shaun: "... There's a pipe dripping an orange... Thing and a bright curtain...">

<Vesta: "... What do they both do?">

-Shaun goes over and steps onto the puddle of orange gel, and moves noticeably faster on it-

<Shaun: "WHOA!">

-And trips once he leaves it-

<Iron Marrow: "Hmph. And they used to give that to humans? How on earth was that remotely useful for running away from Tauros?">

<Vesta: "Maybe... We're supposed to make a path with it...">

"Hmm... What does the light thing, do Shaun?"

-Shaun goes up to the emitter field and lets a spark arc through it-

<Shaun: "... Well, it's not solid so...">

<Vesta: "Are you sure that that's safe?">

<Shaun: "... No. But if I don't find out what it does, someone else will have to...">

-Pokes a "hand" through the emitter field, the portals vanish-

<Vesta: "OH!">

<Iron Marrow: "How clever, sheep.">

"... I guess that rules out just going to that ramp on the other side and casting a portal on the other side of the room..."

<Shaun: "... But... Then... What do we do?">

''-The entire group hits a mental roadblock

-Six Dragon Dances later-

-Nadia uses Dragon Claw on the wall separating her and Vlad's pens-

<Nadia: RRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRR!>

-And leaves a large crack in it-

<Vlad: "OH! So that's what we need to do!">

<Nadia: "(*pant*) Urgh... I f-feel so tired...">

<Vlad: "We have (*pant*) been attacking this wall for a while now... Maybe we should take a break...">

<Nadia: "Yeah... (*pant*) Let's...">

-The two collapse onto their pen floors, exhausted-

-Die walks over to the Head Pokemons' room-

In the Underground Tunnels

-All the tunnels that the Pokemon and People who were evacuating Pinwheel Forest combine into one big Mega Tunnel, the tunnel is now cramped with hundreds of people and Pokemon. A Simisear walks up to the part of the tunnel where it splits into two different tunnels-

<Piotr>: <Okay, this where some of us will part ways, so say your goodbyes. The Left Tunnels leads to the Entralink, while the Right Tunnel leads to the Moor of Iccirus. The ones who are out of energy and need to rest, go to the Left Tunnel. Those ones who wish to be just out of reach from the forces of Liepard and Scolipede, turn for the Right Tunnel >

-The refugees start to split ways. Some heading for the left tunnel, others heading to the right tunnel. After all of the people and Pokemon have made their choice on where they're going to go and Piotr is about to head for the Left tunnel, he noyices Michelle and her battered battalion and runs up to her-

<Piotr>: <KOMMANDIR MICHELLE! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?>

-Michelle leans against a tunnel wall and starts huffing-

<Michelle>: <We lost>

Chase: (opens an eye, looking over at Unfeazent) <...? Where...? Is this the Dream World you mentioned earlier?>

Whimsicott: (nods) <Yep, I've already woken up the leader and some of the other resistance members. Munna has been helping out by waking up some of the younger members in here.>

Chase: <Ah, excellent job. Having the Dream World should make things much easier for us to communicate with those of us who are out on missions.>

Whimsicott: <Thank you, Unfeazent. Well, I have to keep going, there are still more resistance members I have to find.> (floats off)

Chase: <Hehe... Seems that things are starting to turn back around for us.>

In the Tunnels

<Michelle>: <They were too powerful for us... We just didn't stand a chance...>

<Piotr>: <But how?>

<Michelle>: <Piotr... All of our tactics regarding the intruders revolved around the fact that we assumed that the enemy would just Rush into the forest without thinking first and be caught in our traps or ambushed by our hit-and-run groups, like they have before time and time again. This group was different, they avoided our traps and our ambush groups... and they made it to the village. We didn't have a chance to fight back on a full on wave charge, that's not how we fight Piotr...>

-Michelle slumps over, Kamina picks her up-

<Piotr>: <We better get her somewhere quick!>

[Kamina]: [Where do tunnels lead?]

<Piotr>: <The Left leads to the Entralink, the Right leads to the Moor of Iccirus! The Entralink one is closer!>

[Kamina]: [Okay]

-Kamina turns to the battered Battalion-

[Kamina]: [As second in command, I command that half of you go to Moor! People there will need you, you must be there for them! da?]

~Roderich~: ~I understand sir...>

[Kamina]: [Good. Joyeu, Zecora, Oswald, Socrates, Sparkster, Lenore and Hatbox?]

-Those Pokemon named look up to Kamina. Bar Lenore, who can't see-

[Kamina]: [You come with me to Entralink. Quetzal, Geb, Honora, Bob, Arachne and Roderich? You head over to Moor, da?]

<All of the Pokemon mentioned>: <Yes sir>

[Kamina]: [Okay then. We part ways now, da? But don't worry, we see eachother soon!]

-Murmuring-

[Kamina]: [Is time for me to head over to Entralink..]

-Kamina (With Michelle), Piotr and his group head over to the Entralink tunnel. While Roderich's group head over to the Moor tunnel-

At The Entralink

-There is a rustling in the bushes-

- At the Entralink -

Yamask 1: <... Do you hear something?>

Yamask 2: <I think so... Hello? Is someone there?>

At Entralink

-A rather dirty and bruised young girl emergers from the bushes-

<Young Girl>: <...Safe now...>

-The girl starts to halp the others bring out scuffled and tired people and Pokemon from the hole behind the bushes, some are carrying injured mons and others sleeping or wounded children and mons-

In the Midori Room

<Die>: <AAAAARRRGHH!>

-The rest of the Midori Pokemon-

<Stitch>: <Die! What's a matter?>

<Die>: <ERIDAN! ROSE! SOLLUX! JOHN! ALL DEAD! THIER INNARDS LITTERING THE FLOOR AND THEIR THROATS CUT!>

-The Midori room Pokemon rush to the headquarters of the four leaders to see their mauled bodies. Crowbar notices something sticking out of Rose's body and goes over to examine it. He pulls the dagger out of her body-

<Cans>: <Our leaders!>

<Biscuits>: <Who's gonna lead us now!?>

<Eggs>: <I NEED SOMEONE TO MAKE DESCIONS FOR MEEEE!>

-Quarters notices Crowbar-

<Quarters>: <Crowbar? What are you doing?>

<Crowbar>: <...This is Sol's embrioded dagger...>

-The rest of the Midori Room Pokemon look at Crowbar aghast-

<Crowbar>: <...She murdered them...>

Yamask 2: <...!>

Yamask 1: <Leaders!> (floats over to Goggles and Chase) <Wake up!>

Chase: (wakes up) <Huh? What is going on?>

Goggles: (yawns, looking around groggily)

Yamask 1: <Hurry over here! There are people and Pokémon that need our help!>

Chase: <Oh!> (stands up and begins hopping over)

Yamask 1: <I'll go fetch some of our Audino to help out!> (floats off to do that)

Goggles: (gets up, and follows Chase)

At the Entralink

-A shell shocked Nidoking emerges from the hole-

<Nidoking>: <ZORN! ZORN! ALL GONE! O ZORN! DEAD BODIES EVERYWHERE, OH ZORN! MAY INLE TAKE ME NOW THEN SUFFER AT THEIR PAWS AGAIN! O ZORN O ZORN!>

-An Audino comes out of the hole carrying a baby Ducklett-

<Sasha>: <Horosho?>

-Sasha starts to make sounds of anxiety-

-More Pokemon emerge from the hole-

At the Undella Mansion

<Trace>: -All heads- <WHY WOULD SHE DO THIS TO US! AFTER ALL WE DID FOR HER!>

<Matchsticks>: <I'LL ROAST HER!>

-Matchsticks breathes out a burst of flames-

<Die>: <I'll MAUL HER!>

-Die rears up and starts hissing and clawing the air in anger-

<Sawbuck>: <I am going to KILL HER!>

-Napoleon emerges in the room, the Midori Pokemon turn to him-

<Napoleon>: <What has happened here? What is going on?>

-Napoleon looks at the dead bodies and fakes a look of sorrow-

<Napoleon>: <Oh my! What has happened here? Who has killed the leaders of the Pokemon who have protected us for the last two years?>

-Crowbar throws the dagger at Napoleons feet-

<Napoleon>: <Oh my! Sol did this? She is the culprit behind the tragic murders of the leaders?>

-Napoleon puts on a genuine display of anger, but not about the head's death-

<Napoleon>: <I saw her snap... I saw her walking down the hallway with the dagger behind her back... I tried to convince her that what she was doing was a horrible thing... But she ignored me... and entered the room>

-Napoleon's anger is stronger!-

<Napoleon>: <And she murdered them! Worse, the other 5 I called my "friends" were behind it too! They were plotting these fine Pokemon demises behind my backs with Sol!>

-The Midori Room pokemon start to hiss, snarl and growl-

<Napoleon>: <I was able to get revenge by killing those traitors Antonio and Elvis, and I was able to destroy Yaminokame's Ice body... But the two most traitorous of all, Stella and Cuddlekins, we're able to escape with Sol in the nick of time!>

-And uproar occurs in the Midori Room-

<Napoleon>: <YOU'RE OWN MASTER HAS BETRAYED YOU AND LEFT YOU FOR DEAD! I AM THE ONLY ONE STILL HERE FOR YOU! I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN BE TRUSTED! AND TOGETHER, WE WILL HUNT DOWN SOL AND KILL HER!>

-The Midori Room Pokemon howl in agreement-

<Napoleon>: <AND ON TOP OF THAT! WHY NOT SCOLIPEDE AND LIEPARD! THOSE TWO HAVE HAD EASY PICKINGS SINCE THE TAKEOVER WHILE YOU HAVE TOILED AND SWEAT, WITH NO FRUITS OF YOUR BEARINGS! IF WE BAND TOGETHER, O MY BROTHERS, WE WILL HAVE TOTAL CONTROL OF THOSE IN UNOVA! WE WILL BE ABLE TO DESTROY ALL THAT STAND IN OUR WAY AND THREATEN TO DESTROY THOSE WHO ARE PRECIOUS TO US!>

-The Midori Room Pokemon break out into a frenzy-

<Napoleon>: (Thinking) <Just as Planned...>

-A purple Audino comes out of the Hole, an mortally wounded Growlithe Cub in her arms-

<Wei>: *sniff* <Yes... We are...>

-A few more Pokemon come out of the hole-

<Lilligant>: <They came... Like silent leaves blowing down from the tops of the trees...>

<Whimsicott>: <They sourrounded us... and attacked us...>

<Simisage>: <We didn't stand a chance... So we fled into the tunnels... But a lot of us were killed in action...>

<Politoad>: <Some of us took the tunnel to the Moor of Iccirus, some of us came here>

<Liepard>: <We're tired, injured and hungry...>

<Altaria>: <We don't know what to do or who we are anymore... We lost everything...>

In Undella Town

<Napoleon>: <Brothers! Gather your armies and your croonies! Tonight, we rest! Tommorrow, WE FIGHT!>

-A uproar of agreement is heard from the room-

<Napoleon>: <Unova will be ours!>

<Midori Room Pokemon>: <LONG LIVE NAPOLEON! OUR WISE AND POWERFUL LEADER!>

<Napoleon>: -Smirks- <You are learning fast you lot...>

-More Pokemon and People emerge from the hole, and more people are bringing up young children and Pokemon-

-A Nidoqueen looks over to Unfezant-

<Nidoqueen>: <It was horrible... A Zebstrika that you sent for support was mauled to death by a Hydreigon...>

<Sunflora>: <And an Audino you sent us was also killed by a Persian... Who savagery knows no bounds...>

<Lunatone>: <I believe the rest of your squad took the Moor of Iccirus tunnel to protect the brave souls who took that path...>

<Glameow>: <If they're not there... they're dead...>

Chase: (looks over at Goggles) <Yes, leader. But there is still a lot of work that needs to be done before we can do that. Not to mention that we do not have a plan yet.>

Goggles: <Hmm... Right.>

At Entralink

-The last Pokemon of the bunch (So it seems)-

<Druddigon>: <I'm the last one of the... but I heard voices from tunnels... maybe those are the survivers from the battalion...?>

-The Druddigon flops onto the ground-

<Eelektross>: <Let us rest here and lick our wounds, so the next time they find us... we'll be ready for them.>

-The Pinwheel refugees head over to a shaded area and start to sleep in a pile, while the nurses are currently tending the sick, wounded and orphaned-

In the tunnels

Honora: To think that everything we ever worked for in the last two years could just... be ripped apart like that...

Sun: You're right Honora... It's a terrible thing what happened to us... We lost so many friends...

Bob: Wobba wob... (Trans: To think that an area of prosperity could be littered with bones in a matter of minutes...)

- Some of the other Resistance members have woken up, and heard what is going on -

Emolga: <Aww... Zebstrika died? That sucks!>

Sawk: <Yes... And it appears we lost one of our Audino as well.>

Emolga: (sighs) <I never even got the chance to repay Zebstrika for saving my life that one time...>

Whimsicott: <Don't worry about it, Emolga. We will not let them get away with this.>

Emolga: (nods) <... Right.>

Sawk: (looking over at the Pokémon from Pinwheel Forest) <Sometimes I wonder... Is that Liepard and Scolipede too blind to see how many lives they have ruined?> (sighs) <Do they not understand that there is a reason why we choose to oppose them?>

At the Entralink

-The bushes rustle again, the evacuees from Pinwheel Forest look at the bushes to see a familiar looking Simisear come out of them. Piotr then helps Kamina bring Michelle before Kamina, Joyeu, Zecora, Oswald, Socrates, Sparkster, Lenore and Hatbox all climb out of the hole-

<Piotr>: <Our Kommandir needs medical attention pronto! She's in a serious condintion from the battle wounds she gained fighting off those demons in the forest!>

-Michelle groans on Kamina's shoulders-

- A group of Audino immedietly go over to help Michelle -

...What on earth?

-Watches the Portal Gun fire portals at the walls for a few seconds, trying to figure at how it works.-

Hmm...

-Notices that there's an Orange Portal on the island, which is linked to wherever the Blue Portal currently is.-

Very strange...But I think I know what to do.

-Waits until the gun shoots Blue portal at the wall on my side of the room, then quickly runs through it, falling out of the Orange Portal.-

Oof! That was...Strange...

-I take a second to get my bearings, then grab the Portal Gun.-

What an odd gun.

-I give the gun a test, shooting a Blue portal on the floor, and an Orange Portal on the opposite wall.-

Now, if this works properly...

-I then jump down the Blue Portal, falling onto the floor on the opposite side of the room.-

Ow...Okay, note to self. Don't do that.

-I pick myself up off the floor, then move onto the next room.-

Cinder: <What are those things?>

-Lake curiously walks up to the Blue Portal Gun, picking it up and examining it.-

Lake: <It...Looks like a gun of some sort.>

Cinder: <A gun?>

-Cinder goes and picks up the Orange Portal gun. Intrigued, he closes one eye and looks around for something to try it on.-

Lake: <Hey! Be careful where you point that thing! You might accidentally shoot somemon with it!>

Cinder: <Hmph. That wouldn't be a huge loss.>

Lake: <And what's that supposed to mean?!>

Cinder: <Nothin'...Now let's see.>

-Cinder points the gun at the wall, then pulls one of the triggers, creating a Red portal on the wall.-

Cinder: <Wha-?>

Lake: <What's that?>

Cinder: <Hmm.>

-Cinder pulls the other trigger, firing an Orange Portal next to the Red Portal, linking the two together.-

Lake: <Whoa! What are those things?>

-Cinder curiously sticks his hand through one of the Portals, only to see that it's now sticking out of the other one.-

Cinder: <What the...>

-Shocked, the Typlosion walks through the Portal and out of the other one.-

Cinder: <NO WAY! This can't be possible!>

-Intrigued, Lake shoots two Portals of his own (These ones being Blue and Purple), before walking through one then out the other.-

Lake: <Wow...>

Cinder: <So...These guns...They shoot holes?!>

Lake: <I don't think they're holes, Cinder...I think they're Portals.>

- Somewhere... -

... I wonder how my team is doing?

Was it too much of me to expect them to be able to find the others? After all, the others could be anywhere...

... I wonder how the others are doing?

... Hope they're having better luck than the luck I've been having...

I wonder what that AI does with the articles we send. Shame I wasn't able to show DS that Marill article before the world got remade. Hopefully she's doing better than we are, stuck behind this panel at the mercy of a mad AI, though with what happened back in Sinnoh I have to wonder.

-Sighs-

I wish I could say that Gamer was mistaken about Fool turning evil in this universe, but I know he's right. I guess just like before I'll just channel my energies into combating the immediate threat before I go sulking or hitting an object or whatever.

Luke's Course

-the room stretches upwards, with a large number of ledges sticking out from the wall. only the ledges and floor are portalable; the walls are metal.-

-a pipe drips a blue gel onto the floor-

Due to a required test safety protocol, I must inform you that if you are in the control group, you will be receiving blue paint instead of Repulsion Gel. Due to a required test protocol, I am not allowed to inform you whether you are in the control group.

What? Repulsion Gel? Is that what this stuff is? Um...Might be?

-I cautiously examine the blue paint/gel.-

I wonder why it's called Repulsion Gel?

-I decide to test the paint/gel by touching it with my shoe...And get sent flying high into the air.-

What the-? AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!

-I land in the gel, only to get sprung back up again.-

AAAAAAHHHHHH!!! THAT'S WHY!!!

-Lake and Cinder give each other odd looks. Deciding to go along with it, Cinder points at the candlemaker, while Lake points at the Butcher.

That done, they both step onto the scales, a-bit somewhat wearily.-

Well, I pretty much solved this puzzle already, so I suppose we can head over to the next room.
