(She then finally processes the comment about criminals, and her expression darkens a little.)

Mahina: Oh, great, not-awesome humans. Should we tell the Tapu or...?

La: Koko already knows, he was there when the Melemele Meadow incident happened. That said we could warn the others ourselves just in case.

Human!Ilya: Oh, a Ponytatail? Like this!

-she removes her hat, pulls out a hair tie of some description, and ties her hair up-

Yep, one fight against the Totems and the first Z-Crystal And the right to be able to actually explore this island will be ours!

-He quickly tosses Rockruff another berry and heads for the back of the cave-

-Beat smirks, then she and Soujin head for the back of the cave-

-When they and presumably Pent get there, they see an open area with a pedestal in the middle that seems fairly quiet-

-Auras around them flare to life, boosting their defenses-

-The Rockruff jumps in and tries to look all menacing and get her aura flaring too... Obviously her aura does not flare up but she does look adorable-

Rockruff: <Get a load of my... Sand Attack!>

-The Rockruff jumps around and kicks up sand-

Soujin: "Hm, Beat, let's start off with Leer."

Beat: -smirks- <Alright.>

-She Leers at the Raticate, dropping her Defense to normal levels-

Raticate: <Well, if that's the game we're playing...>

-She proceeds to Focus her Energy-

Gumshoos: <Meh, that's bo->

-She gets some Sand kicked in her Face-

Gumshoos: <Hey!>

-She rushes at the Rockruff with a Tackle-

-The Gumshoos is Bitten down on while Beat goes for a Fire Fang on the Raticate-

Gumshoos: <Well, you're not the only ones who can make noise!>

-She and the Raticate let out a cry-

-As they do so, a Yungoos and Rattata appear-

Yungoos: <Hm. Time for this again?>

Rattata: <Yeah! Watch this!>

<Hey, I saw you all during that trial! Just Howl Bite Howl Bite, can't you do anything else?>

-While Rockruff might be a bit Tormented by this, the Gumshoos goes in for a Bite on her-

-Beat, meanwhile is dealing with a Bite from the Raticate and Tackle from the Yungoos-

Beat: <Hey, who said you could gang up on us, anyway?>

-Mimmy, as per usual, has her nose buried in a book. This one is something that Heidi recommended for her-

Mimmy: ...so this is Marxism?

-Mimmy looks up and sees a girl sitting next to her. A blonde girl, distinct from the sort that one would find on the cover of Unovan Girl by a large gap between her front teeth and eyes that seem oddly out of focus-

???: Oooh, you're Kalosian! What're you doing here?

Mimmy: I'm a...part of a group. They decided to go here, so I went here.

???: I'm on vacation! My daddy's been very busy lately so he figured he'd send me and mom to here for a week or so!

Mimmy: It's lovely, isn't it?

-the girl makes a face-

???: Ugh. No! Everything's so slow here. I was going to the city that's near here-Hau-whatever, y'know? And I went to the Malasada place and asked for one and it took fifteen minutes! Fifteen! And no one was even there! I told Mommy and she gave them a piece of her mind, though.

-Mimmy regards her curiously, before speaking-

Mimmy: What does your dadd-I mean, father. What does he do? He makes a lot of money to send you here on vacation.

???: Oh, he's a corruption lawyer in Castelia!

Mimmy: Oooh? So he was, like, the one prosecuting that Ponzi scheme guy?

???: No, he was defending him!

Mimmy: ...oh, a corruption lawyer. I see.

???': And what's your daddy do?

-Mimmy frowns and runs her thumb along the pages of her book-

Mimmy: He's not really clear about it, but he's rich like yours. He divorced my mom when I was very young, though.

???: ...oh.

-it probably wasn't meant with any ill intent, but the way the girl said "oh" makes Mimmy flinch-

???: Well, I'm going to go see what else is going on. Bye!

-she walks away, and Mimmy blinks-
