Rebecca: Gah, those idiots... Who do they think they are, stealing from me?! When I get my hands on them... GRRR
Shaking his head at the girl's antics, Rex turns to Kim again, checking to see if there's any update on the Houndoom's location.

Rebecca: Good. The sooner I get him back, the sooner I can see if a Houndoom's flames really do cause painful burns forever.

-He springs like a frog, scythed fingers reaching for the bewildered girl's throat.-

-Sandy thrusts her boyfriend/halberd forward, cleanly piercing the creature through and through. It's steps seize, bringing it inches from reaching her throat.-

-The creature, a look of shock etched on his face, slowly disperses is to purple mist. Sandy remains frozen, before sliding into a sit. She places Halberd!Denzel on the ground next to her, and he reforms into his human self with a quick flash of light. He kneels down and wraps an arm around Sandy's shoulder.-
Denzel: You alright?
Sandy: I... think so?
Denzel: ... Was that a question?
Sandy: Maybe?
Denzel: Now you're messing with me.
