Edge: -He breaks out into a long winded laugh, one that would stir memories of those who heard it centuries before today- <Euuuuuuuuuuuuuuuughahahahahahhhhh AAAAAAAHAAHAHAHAHH! There! Right there! The answer to every question you've had.>

-He smiles- <Why didn't I kill you? Why did I hunt you, why did I go through so many mind numbingly complicated things to carry out a seemingly cut and dry easy job? Why give up a plan I had spent six hundred years planning and adapting and perfecting, six hundred years of daily harsh battling and training, all the time of my life for a world I wanted? Why pass all that up? I had every reason to go through it. That man destroyed my life, he denied my my own self, destroyed my friends and family, shattered the bond between the one I gave my heart to, all while being too cowardly to act of his own volition, one I swore revenge against and all descended from him. Why refuse that?>

-He sighs, then, opening his eyes he adresses Herbert in a tone also reminiscent of a time long forgotten- <Simple. Because I had to know. I had to see. I had to confirm to myself that you were every bit as despicable as he was, a justification for what I wanted to do. So I made my move. But... it was... different. You didn't ever act the way I wanted. I was infuriated, why weren't you wrong? Why weren't you him? So I kept trying to push something from you, some way to prove to myself I hadn't wasted my whole life. I found nothing.>

Choice: Let's not waste time with this. We need to come up with another plan.

-Boatman leaves, unintelligibly muttering under his breath. He slams the door as he exits.-

-He sighs, then turns back to the others.-

Herbert: Sorry about that. Hopefully you understand why we needed to have that talk, though. Anyway... we were getting ready for our trip to Unova, weren't we?

"Oh, um... Right...!" said Sakura, unsure of what to think of everything that she just heard "You want to go there via teleportation or ship?" she asked

-blinks at Herbert-

<That was fun. We're going to Unova?>

Holon City Hospital

Amhlaidh: I... I see.

-he turns back to Ammy and lets out a soft groan, covering his face with his hands again-

Amhlaidh: Kori, I think I may be insane.

Kori: -places a paw on his arm- <Only if I am as well, Amhlaidh.>

Herbert, you gave me my new name, and it's one I'll admit I took quite a liking to, just like you go by an alias, I think I'll stick to that. And as well, I think you've realized by this point someone related to me, and he'd probably like to know you're back.>

Ren: -walking down the stairs, a frown on his face- Shokaki was an ass. He knew people would make a fuss about this. I only let the curator show those Time Flowers because some of them actually show Lucanus in a good light.

-Ren sighs-

Ren: At least now I know where my temper comes from.

Holon City, with Crewe, Sakura, Rawst and Edge

-Herbert smiles as Edge disappears.-

Herbert: Edge it is, then. Goodbye. Hopefully our next meeting will be on better terms.

-He turns and nods at Crewe.-

Herbert: Uh-huh. At least, me, Sakura and Rawst are. You can come along if you want. I need to check on my Pokemon in Challenger's Cave and meet up with Lyuri and Duke, since I haven't seen those two in a while. Also I should take advantage of the fact that I'll have a phone signal in Unova to call Jacob.

-He then turns to Sakura.-

Herbert: Teleportation would probably be simpler, especially since I can just get Maul to do it for me.

-There is a brief pause.-

Herbert: ...Maul?

-A certain Alakazam blips in front of Crow and his team.-

"Oh, there you all are, was wondering where you two had gone to." said Grant, though he then notices Herbert "Hey, Herbert! You're back now?"
