-Ayame is currently lying in bed in some seldom-visited wing of the castle, the white bandages wrapped around her head providing something of a contrast to her usual garb. She sighs as Libitina floats over to her bedside.-

Libitina: <Something wrong?>

Ayame: I'm so boooooooooored!

-She attempts to indignantly kick something, but the fact that she is stuck in bed means that she just futilely hits her foot against the mattress.-

Ayame: Ever since that awful pirate guy showed up, I've been stuck in bed for a whole week! There's nothing to do around here, I haven't been able to get my katars back, and Fukurou hasn't visited me at all!

Libitina: <...Seriously? You're recovering from an injury that could easily have broken your neck, and that's what's you're concerned about? I think that might be the head wound talking.>

Ayame: ...You know what? I'm perfectly fine. I don't need to wait for them to come down here and tell me that! I'm going to get out of this bed, head outside, and get some fresh air!

Libitina: <Okay, now that's definitely the head wound talking. Surely I don't need to tell you why sneaking out of hospital is a bad->

-Before Libitina can finish her sentence, Ayame is already out of bed and trying to pick the lock of the window to her room.-

Ayame: Maybe I'll take a walk to Illusio. After all, I haven't seen Aiura in a while. She could probably use some company after everything that's happened...

Libitina: <...You know, sometimes I wonder if you can actually understand me and Thor or if you just happen to talk to yourself whilst we're around.>

Kamiki Village(?)

- Ammy tackles Susano(?)-

Susano(?): <What the->

-Yawns and stretches-

<Ah, I slept like a log! I must have dozed off while training to defeat that no-good Shiranui!>

- Notices the group-

<Hmm? Who are you? What do you want with me? I'm Nagi, the greatest warrior ever!>

Ammy: <Nagi? It can't be...>

Nagi: <Wait a minute... -leans in to Ammy- You... You're Shiranui!>

Issun: <You still [dreaming] or something, pops? I mean, greatest warrior [ever?] Gimme a break!>

Nagi: <You brought along some monsters this time? Well I have you now, Shiranui, you monster!> -draws a sword-

Rosa: <Uh oh...>

Issun: <Monster? Come on pops, [wake up!] You must still be [dreaming!] And what's with all this [Shiranui] stuff? Still [obsessed] with the past?>

Nagi: <The past? Stop speaking nonsense! Look at that moon!> -points up- <Tonight is the night when the moon waxes to its fullest! It marks the day Orochi shall claim his sacrifice.>

Issun: <Wait a minute... this [sinister] air... That means [Orochi] is stirring! How is this [possible?!]

Ammy: <I think I have an idea why...>

Nagi: <Too late to feign innocence, Shiranui. We know you come each year to size up Orochi's sacrifice. But this time things are going to be different! I, Nagi, shall put an end to your devilish work!>

Issun: <Wait... [Nagi...] [Orochi...] It can't be...>

<The Spirit Gate sent us back even [further] in time... To Kamiki Village [700] years ago...>

Ammy: <Exactly what I was afraid of.>

Rosa: <So we're time travelers now? Awesome!>

- Suddenly, Nagi charges!-

-Lina is marching to Dragnor. Presumably Kaius, Kaguya, and Amhlaidh are accompanying her, along with some Illusian troops-

Alexiel is walking around with his Zoroark, who's keeping them from being noticed.

"Heh, it was really easy to get this." said Alexiel, speaking to himself while looking at the files "They did a really good job with this, I'm not sure if those scientists are ever going to finish their work properly, so this works well as insurance that something will come out of all this and if they do finish the work, then it's even better, I can keep this to myself for later use!" he thought, as he petted his Zoroark for doing a good work, which it seemed to quite enjoy.

Kamiki Village - Around 600 700 years ago

Herbert: ...Great, more time travel. Just what I always wanted. I swear, if I end up somehow becoming my own ancestor, I am going to-

-He is cut off by Nagi charging at him and is only just able to stagger out of the way, retaliating with a Force Palm.-

Illusio - Around 600 years ago

-The forces marching to Dragnor may notice that they may or may not be being tailed by a Highly-Visible Ninja.-

-Manages to Detect out of the way and retaliates by lashing out with Aura chains-

Erm... Dune was never at the party. Selene was only there because she's naturally attracted to birthdays. And I'm not even sure if the party's still going...

- Nagi takes the attacks from Herbert and Tagg, and is zapped by Issun, Energy Balled by Rosa, and whipped by Ammy's Resurrection Beads-

- He then swipes at Herbert with his sword and Aqua Jets Tagg-

Dragnor

- Lina's group marches up to the castle-

-As the group progresses, Femata and Spectrum feel themselves getting gradually weaker. Other mons in the group may notice this as well.-

-Kaius is indeed marching up as well. He looks at the castle with a sad, yet determined look in his eyes-

Past!Kamiki Village

-Gets slammed into the ground by the Aqua Jet-

Kamiki Village - Around 700 years ago

-Herbert attempts to dart out of the way of Nagi's strike but fails, the sword catching him across his left arm. Thankfully, his armour prevents him from taking any serious damage.-

Herbert: See? I knew this armour would come in handy.

-He responds with a swing from his own sword.-

Dragnor - Around 600 years ago

-The aforementioned Highly-Visible Ninja watches Kaius and Lina approach the castle from a nearby perch.-

Libitina: <...Explain to me what we're doing here, again?>

Ayame: I'm not sure, really. But it looks like something important's going on, so we might as well stick around!

Kamiki Village, 700 years ago

- Nagi takes the sword swipe and grunts-

- He then takes more attacks from Ammy's group, then Aqua Jets Ammy to the ground and swipes at Herbert again-

Kamiki Village - Around 700 years ago

-Nagi's second strike catches Herbert in the shoulder, and this time it cuts through the leather, drawing blood.-

Herbert: Argh! Lay off, you crazy bastard, we're on your side! Why is every misunderstanding in Ransei solved by beating the crap out of the people who are trying to help you?

Past!Kamiki Village

-Gets up and tries attacking Nagi from behind with an Aura hammer-

Kamiki Village, around 700 years ago

Nagi: <Nonsense! You're working with that demon Shira->

-He is then slammed by Tagg's Aura Hammer, and turns to strike back when...-

-And is bowled over, vulnerable-

Rosa: <Yay, I got him!>

Ammy: <Nice job, Rosa!>

- Wraps her Resurrection Beads around Nagi and throws him-

Kamiki Village - Around 700 years ago

-Herbert sheathes his sword as Ammy starts throwing Nagi, clutching his shoulder in an attempt to stem the bleeding.-

Herbert: Look, you old coot, this Arcanine isn't a demon! We're fighting against the demons! We want to stop Orochi just as much as you do, so if you would stop trying to take our heads off and listen, it would be greatly appreciated!

Holon City, sometime this morning

-Gogie has decided to take his ball and set out for Joulant Town-

Dragnor

-the castle grounds are oddly deserted, although there are two guards in front of the doors to the keep-

Kamiki Village, 700 years ago

- Nagi cannot hear Herbert on account of being K Oed.-

Issun: <Uh-oh... We [knocked him out] cold.> -pokes- <He looks just like the [statue] of Nagi...>

Ammy: <This weird air in the village... The villager's reactions... And this full moon... We're definitely in Kamiki 100 years before we set foot in it...>

Issun: <I [get it] now. The villagers are afraid of you because they thought [Shiranui] was Orochi's familiar who sized up his sacrifices. That's why he called you Shiranui and wanted to [fight] you.>

Ammy: <But... Where's the real Shiranui? I have a bad feeling about this...>

Issun: <I just hope we don't mess up [history] even more than we already have!>

Rosa: <Hey look! There are people in front of that house!>

Ammy: <That's Nagi's house...>

-Heads over-

-Lina marches up to the guards-

Lina: Yusei. Where is he?

-one of the guards simply shakes his head, refusing to answer-

-Herbert follows behind Ammy, his shoulder still bleeding, though the wound is beginning to scab over at a surprisingly rapid rate.-

Herbert: Oh great. Don't tell me we've managed to make a Stable Time Loop within a Stable Time Loop. That's one too many layers of recursion for me to deal with at the moment...

Dragnor - Around 600 years ago

Ayame: ...Do you reckon they need some help down there?

Libitina: <They'll be fine. By the looks of things they've got everything under->

Ayame: I think they need some help. We should go help them out! After all, they're friends of Aiura! I think.

-She hops down from her perch and comes up from behind Lina. Libitina sighs, then floats behind. Both have yet to consider that approaching with a Ghost-type in tow might be a bad idea.-

Ayame: Hi! I was in the neighbourhood and noticed that you appear to be doing something. So I was wondering what that thing was and whether you could use any help doing it?
