Birkin was forced into mutating at least 4 times. The villain in that movie only got "killed" once, so he didn't had to go all feral and stuff...
Speaking of which, I'd like to know why Birkin's third form suddenly learns Kung Fu in Darkside Chronicles. Seeing him do spinning kicks and punching stuff is just hilarious.
Also, wasn't the G-virus supposed to work only on very specific people? That is to say that, if you don't have some particular genome, you just end up as a G-Mutant like the adult G-embryos?...Or am I mixing it up with the T-virus and Tyrants here?
You know, there's been after all those lickers in RE 5, and now all those lickers in these trailers, I'm starting to wonder if they're making them some sort of series mascot or something...
Yeah, youre thinking of Tyrant compatibility. G-virus works on everything.
Speaking of Dead Aim, that one's canon.
Can't think of anything witty, so have this instead...We need more of THIS!

For some reason I can't help but think that WINNER IS YOU.
Edit:Screw it, I'm just linking the video itself...I've tried three others and they're all malfunctioning...

Youtube link error.
The G virus works on everyone, but those afflicted with it are compelled to implant embryos within people with similar genetic makeup (family, in a nutshell).
#IceBearForPresidentSo what's with the fact that like half the youtube/tweets/other comment things on Resident evil being in Spanish.
Not that I have a problem with it, but it seems that the Spanish (Mexican?) fanbase must be tiny compared to the American/British one.
"When you cut your finger, I do not bleed." Response of a man who lived on the outskirts of a concentration camp.X9
Metaphysician wins the idea contest. That would be freaking awesome. Dynamically generated mutant zombies? Wicked. It sure as hell would force you to think on your toes and vary your strategy on the fly. That's what survival horror is all about.
Or rather zombies that mutate bases on how you fight them. Use bullets? Eventually they mutate resistance to bullets. Fire? They become fireproof, and so on. Unless this is exactly what the other guy in this thread suggested.
It'd be like fighting goddamn Tyranids, man. Which would be awesome.
See, I told you guys the G-virus was awesome.
So, supposing Wesker does come back in the future, how are they going to make him stronger than he was in 5? He's already comically overpowered, so if he gets much stronger I dont see how he can lose without everyones Willing Suspension of Disbelief being broken. It was bad enough in 5. A man who moves faster than you can see should be able to charge across a room and pull off your head before you even have your gun out of its holster.
Can't think of anything witty, so have this instead...Simple. Let Albert be dead, and let the next game focus on Alex.
#IceBearForPresidentSo, I never got it: What really separates Survival Horror and any other game? It seems awfully subjective. Is a lack of ammo mandatory? Or is any way to fight back at all crossing the line?
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.As far as I'm concerned, if it's scary, it's horror. If theres a chance you're gonna die and you don't want that, it's survival.
You can throw God of War level action in it and so long as it's still scary and you don't want to die, then it's survival horror. RE 4 and 5 just traded too much horror for action.

#IceBearForPresidentSurvival Horror to me is basically an Adventure Game with horror elements, the difference being that you (usually) can fight back directly. And to add to the above, if the game gives you too much to fight back with, you stop feeling as scared and probably end up thinking the monsters out to get you are just nuisances.

Hey, I liked RE 4. Lemme tell ya, it was plenty intense enough on Professional difficulty, and when you fought Ganados at night on that difficulty it was quite creepy.
That much said, as far as sheer spook factor goes, I think the RE-Make did it best. OHGODITSGETTINGBACKUP.
I honestly found most of the advanced enemies in 4 more intimidating than a good chunk of the earlier monsters in the series.

I liked RE 4 and 5 to, it's just that they aren't all that scary. Intimidating? Yes. Creepy? Yes. Fun? Most definitely. Scary? It's all jump scares, at least the RE classic scares was mostly all jump scares.
#IceBearForPresidentThe regenerators are not jump scare scenes.
In fact, the last one is scary because you can hear it before you see it.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Goddamn I hated the Regenerators. Hell their breathing sound freaks me the hell out.
I had a friend once recreate their breathing sound in a dark hallway. Damn near decked him in the face for that. Course, now it's funny, but at the time it was freaky.
(Gasp-wheeze)
Ohgodwhereisit.
(Gasp-wheeze)
I'll stay right here and let it come to me.
(Raaaaaaaaaasp)
THROW GRENADES. EVERYWHERE.
That was my experience with that regenerator.
The worst is when you shoot off the legs.
"Ha, can't move too well without your legs, huh? OH GOD, IT'S LEAPING UP! GAH, MY NECK ITS BITING MY NECK!"
I kinda found the infrared scope on my first play-through...
I was like ooh, shiny. -regenerator spawns- Oh crap! I wonder if... -installs infrared scope- -aims- -bap bap bap- -dead-
Later on when I ran into the iron maidens I was incredibly freaked out when I shot all of its slugs, but it didn't die. I then figured there was one on its back and shot out its knees. Yeah... didn't know they could jump.
You know what scared the crap out of me?
When I learned Regenerators can RUN. Oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit...
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Yeah, I got a shock from a regenerator one time as well. I decided to shoot of its arms and legs, then headshot it point blank with the Broken Butterfly. Then it jumped at my face. I shit myself.
Getting back on the original topic, all these Resi 6 rumors seem like pure speculation. Does anyone have anything resembling actual facts?

Can't think of anything witty, so have this instead...Were-Albertwesker.
Oops. Wrong forum topic.
Jonah Falcon
I dunno about using the G-Virus plot again. Degeneration kinda ruined that by making the bad guy's transformation less... grotesque in comparison to Birkin's.
