- Seme: masculine-er gay guy who's tall, looks handsome and plows
- Uke: a gay kid who receives and tends to be a Cute Shotaro Boy, like Elk from Dot Hack

Uke do not have to be kids, but just the submissive partner. Though childishness or feminity seem to be used a lot.
