I'd say Anti-Hero, because a Villain Protagonist actually commits crimes of his own whereas your main character is framed for one. He can't be a Tragic Hero either because there is no Fatal Flaw or Tragic Dream that usually goes hand in hand with the Tragic Hero trope. *
Has ADD, plays World of Tanks, thinks up crazy ideas like children making spaceships for Hitler. Occasionally writes them down.

I'm going to write a story that deconstructs Bondage Is Bad. In it, The Hero is a Dom whose ex-sub uses their consensual BDSM to paint him as a villain and get him prosecuted. He loses his case and loses everything, in terms of finances and reputation. Everyone sides with the ex, and he's an outcast. Because of this, he goes on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge against his ex, and becomes a bit monomaniacal about it, to the point of near-insanity.
What would you call this protagonist? An Anti-Hero? A Villain Protagonist? A Tragic Hero?
